I have lived with them for 4 years and my apartment mates were Bengali's so my observation is based on alot of time and exposure. Bangladeshi's as a lot are insecure, you can even see it in your sports teams the way they react when they win a match after a decade.

I dont know how the Cricket team has a correlation with Bengalis but all I can say is we don't share the same love with cricket as the rest of the subcontinent thats a fact, cricket only became popular recently. Rightly said. Most of the Pakistanis are under delusion that somehow we want to relate with them or claim ethnic or cultural comradery. Which is laughable. I don't know why Pakistanis suffer so much egoism about their ethnicity? What's so special being a Punjabi or Pakhtun? Vast majority of Bangladeshi people are not even aware about the ethnic diversity of Pakistan. When they hear the word Punjabi, they think about a particular cloth worn by men.They have no idea what is Pakhtun, Sindhi or Baluch.We never claimed we have anything common with Pakistani people. It is quite the opposite. One of the important justification of our independence is the lack of ethnic and cultural similarity with western Pakistan.
