Not actually, all the inhabitants in south Asia has some mongoloid gene, even among the Punjabi and Pashtun. Punjabi has average 4% mongoloid gene and Bangladeshi has average 12%. But 4% or 12% are too minuscule to impact a people's phenotype in any significant way. Even among the mix of pure white and pure black, unless mix ratio is 67:33, hints of opposite element will not be visible. 3/4th white or 3/4th black look same as pure white or black.See these mix.

In Bangladesh, no more than 5-6% ethnic Bengali shows some hints of Mongoloid gene.Mostly found in Chittagong and Sylhet region(eastern most region in BD). There are pure mongoloid tribes in Bangladesh. But they are ethnic minority like Chakma, Marma, Khasia etc.. Combindly they make up 1% percent of population in Bangladesh.

Well, I don't really get into racial discussions because there is no point. What we must be doing is promoting inter-race and inter-religion relationships, and also internationalism instead of deep nationalism.

Its reality bengali got nothing to do with us ethnically or culturally. they were given shelter on Islamic and humanitarian ground by Zia bcoz they were very poor and used to speak broken urdu which they learned in east Pakistan. kya bolega.. lol
