Indian Muslims should form their own political party.

All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen
All India Muslim Majlis
Indian Union Muslim League
Islam Party Hind
Ittehad-E-Millait Council
Garib Nawaz Party (Shah Mansoor Ahmed)
Dalit Muslim Vikas Party
All India Tafsili United Party

to name a few

Obviously the Muslims don't trust you and are expecting you to Hinduize them.

I mean if you're so worried about keeping the unity in the fight against corruption, don't use such words?

should we start using phrases from quran to gain their confidence and publish banners only in urdu/arabic...?

cmon what is this silly statement....the issue here is corruption.....is this bill is passed will not the muslims also be benefitted..? why this myopic tunnel vision on the partof the imam...?

btw what is there to hinduize them in this slogans - vande mataram...? is the muslim faith so brittle and weak that they will be hi nduized if they participate in a rally where people chant this...?

remember except muslims none of the other religions see vande mataram as a hindu slogan....its seen as a patriotic slogan whihc won us our independence....

If you do something stupid 50000th time, people lose patience with you. This man has a history of making pointless comments. A part of being liberal is the ability to criticize too.

Bhukari is a congress sell off.

Congress-I has been trying to do give this movement a communal colour and is able to do so successfully. Muslims are going to be the losers again. When a group is so dependent on one person its easier to mislead them to disaster and Muslims are the easiest to mislead. You call for some superfluous danger to Islam and make them do anything you want.

I wouldn't care if Muslims will out cry in India being segregated and deprived of better opportunities because now being party to the same corruption Anna fighting against.

Now Its not about Hindus protesting against Bukhari but sane Muslims wearing namaz cap with a spine (if there is any) opposing such idiocy he is ranting.

Notice on plea for deletion of `Sindh'

By Our Legal Correspondent

NEW DELHI, aug 11. The Supreme Court today issued notice to the Centre on a petition for direction to delete the word `Sindh', now part of Pakistan, from the National Anthem and replace it with the word `Kashmir'.

A Bench comprising the Chief Justice, R. C. Lahoti, and Justice G. P. Mathur, issued the notice on a public interest litigation petition filed by a scientist and speed skating champion who represented India in the Japan Asian Games. In September last, the court, while rejecting his plea, gave liberty to the petitioner to draw the Government's attention to this and then approach the court if no action was taken.

Accordingly, the petitioner, Sanjeev Bhatnagar, who is also an advocate, approached the court stating that the recitation of Sindh in the National Anthem was an infringement on the sovereignty of Pakistan. Such singing for the last 54 years and eight months was also hurting the feelings of more than 100-crore people in India.

He said the petition was to avoid any international dispute as such flaws in the National Anthem could bring dishonour and disrespect to the nation. He sought a direction for deletion of the word `Sindh' and substituting it with the word Kashmir.

The Home Ministry had replied to him that the National Anthem was adopted by the Constituent Assembly on January 24, 1950. At that time, `Sindh' had already become a part of Pakistan and therefore the Constituent Assembly was conscious of this fact.

"The word `Sindh' refers not merely to the province of Sindh but also to the Sindhi culture, which is an inalienable part of the rich and diverse culture of India. Moreover, the contribution of Sindhi people in the making of modern India was has been extremely noteworthy and cannot be overlooked. It may not, therefore, be appropriate to delete the word `Sindh' from the National Anthem," the Ministry said.

Kashmir isn't a good choice. They should think of some other place like goa or andaman islands.
