10% of Indian earn their end meal by rearing cows and sell them to Bangladeshi feast makers. His rhetoric wont fill their stomach.

Almost 90% of bD population is directly dependent upon Indian beef and since BSF has tightened the vigil, we will see a more hungry BD.

We dont have problems with swines. Plenty of them are freely roaming in BD. Who likes can eat as wish.

Since you have plenty of swine, train your population to survive with them. India is not in a mood to feed BD anymore.

Why don't BD or India cultivate "Beef Cattle" killing dairy cattle will hit milk productivity of India...

Its not just about Bangladeshi wanting to buy Indian beef cattle, its also about poor Indian farmer and villagers willing to sell as well. Nobody forces them to sell cattle, 90% of the male calf are sold to butchers, and they end up on the Bangladesh border.

Its a tricky situation and the Indian government needs to deal with it with an open mind, and not on the religious and emotional lines.

Ideally yes, they should legalise export of live cattle, avoid slaughtering in India.

Bengal already allows cows slaughter with a certificate so completely halt the illegal trade let the farmers sell their cattle if they wishes to ,to slaughterhouses and they can sell finished beef to bangladesh of-course with duties.

State will earn ,farmers will earn and bangladesh can eat beef if they can afford to,its a win win.

95% of Indian statistics are fake. We rely on our own sources for beef, it's during the Kurbani (Eid ul Azha) that imports are brought. And they come from India and Nepal.

But we mostly go for "deshi goru" as they taste better.
