Indian Express has reported that the Indian Border Security Force (BSF) will soon deploy unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) AKA Drones along the border with Bangladesh to maintain "accuracy".

This descition came at a time when an Indian court accuitted BSF soldier who killed a phenomenal Bangladeshi girl named FELANI.

"The plan to deploy UAVs is picking up pace. We are actively pursuing it and would like to use them not only on the western border butalso on the eastern border with Bangladesh,"said BSF DG Subhash Joshi.

A standard operating procedure is being drafted with the Indian Air Force (IAF) to finalize the modalities of using the UAVs, saida senior BSF official. The surveillance machines, which will be flying at an altitude of 10,000-12,000 feet, will capture images and relay real-time information on the movement of infiltrators, if any, anywhere near the border, said the officer.

However, it was not immediately clear from the official account that whether these will also be used for bombing “infiltrators” as drones usually do. India is already using
Long-Range Reconnaissance and ObservationSystem (LORROS), Battlefield Surveillance Radar (BFSR) and night vision devices to enhance surveillance capabilities of the border troops.

The BSF had suggested the use of UAVs to the Ministry of Home Affairs last year.

Is this descition is right? I think not. Because it will hamper the secracy of Bangladesh security. The border problem should be solved through proper meeting of two gov but deploying drone will affect the Bangladesh's internal security ridiculously. Just nothing to say.:cuckoo:

Bro, we don't need these toys to spy your country. Our satellites will do that job perfectly..

LoL..so now what do you know about our country? Do you know the story of "The lion and the mouse" ?

Don't worry. In case the so-called drones intend to bomb the cow smugglers all they need is to ride on a bull. On the control panel smuggler on a bull will look like a senior god riding on a lesser god.

Our BGB /BA must be trained and equipped on anti-drone ops. There are passive defense against drones. They can also be shot down. We may have to train and arm border villagers in this. Unlike Pak-Afghan border, our frontier is heavily populated. Indian Drones will be easily detected. Any UAV approaching too near the zero line should be shot down. Btw, there is a limit up to which an aircarft can fly near the border.

We also we need to buy drones like Turkish Anka, to monitor against any incursion by Indian drones.

The picture wont be similar when they get bombed ;) wanna see how 'predator' uses hellfire missiles and turns the areas it hits into a piece of art?

The Chinese have a range of v cheap and effective drones. Once the current traitors are ousted we will surely like to plan on deploying swarms of drones.

And do what? exactly measure the height of fences and send real time data for pole vaulters, you should have trained them for olympics they might win you a medal ;)

Yes try that and cry BSF shot down more! :D

Sure, we'd gladly take a hit on our $2000 surveillance drone from a $15000 MANPAD fired by our beloved Bangladeshis.

Looks like our professional is little short on IQ and economics. :D

India doesnt have as advanced drones that possess weapons that have good accuracy.

These drones will probably only be used as surveillance. Trolls here suggesting that they will be equipped with missiles and such are of the low 82 IQ grade.

I can equip a toy plane with explosives that explodes when it strikes a contact, that's just kiddy aircraft mind you. When i can do such thing, what IA & IAF will do ;) or you thought that brainstorming exists only in your nation? ;)
