Major Nazrul Islam, operation officer of 39 Rifles Battalion said, BSF troops of Nimtita camp in Maldah caught Saidur when he was crossing the border and beat him up mercilessly.


They also cut off the tendons of his hands and legs and threw him into the river Padma.


Local people found Saidur floating in the river at about 1:30pm. The doctors declared him dead after he was rushed to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital (RMCH).

He was caught by the BSF that was proven so it is natural to believe that he was killed in custody. the 2nd victim still alive was also thrown into river. Same pattern, circumstantial evidence and proven guilty.

1 killed as BSF cuts tendons

A Bangladeshi cattle trader died as Indian Border Security Force (BSF) cut off the tendons of his hands and legs along Monohorpur border in Shibganj upazila of Chapainawabganj on Saturday.


The victim was identified as Saidur Rahman 18, son of Azahar Ali of Dakatpara village in the upazila, reports our Chapainawabganj correspondent.


Major Nazrul Islam, operation officer of 39 Rifles Battalion said, BSF troops of Nimtita camp in Maldah caught Saidur when he was crossing the border and beat him up mercilessly.


They also cut off the tendons of his hands and legs and threw him into the river Padma.


Local people found Saidur floating in the river at about 1:30pm. The doctors declared him dead after he was rushed to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital (RMCH).


Informed by locals, BDR sent a protest letter to its Indian counterpart and asked BSF for a flag meeting.


The meeting was held Sunday afternoon on Masudpur frontier where BDR protested such incidents of killing by the Indian border guards.


Earlier, BSF of same camp caught and tortured another Bangladeshi cattle trader Nurul Islam on Raghunathpur frontier in Shibganj upazila on August 31 and also threw him into the river Padma.


Locals rescued him from Padma at night and rushed him to RMCH, said BDR officials

Indian BSF troops are recruited from uncivilized people living in heavy jungles and mountain caves that crisscross India. This is because the medieval govt of India needs them in Jammu and Kashmir. These drunkards brutally suppress the Kashmiri freedom fighters.

Many of them are then transferred to BD border to bring back their mental sanity. But, these drunkards behave as if they are still in Kashmir. They panick at the sight of even a cat. They should be taught how to behave.

They should try to pick fight against our BDR at random, instead of shooting at innocent people. Brave people do not like to torment innocent and weak people. Rather they fight against the strong. Behaviour of BSF shows how weak these mountain dwellers are.
