actually its kind of the same, heck look at your own pics there, you have both Pakistanis living in the north west, not only bradford. then you have the same in the Midlands (Birmingham) but you have pockets of indians in places like Leicester derby and probably Nottingham too. and then you have London where there interestingly according to your pic indians live around london (outside of the m25) and Pakistanis in London

Our median income on paper is MUCH lower than what it is in reality because Pakistanis in the UK have large undeclared income and we avoid paying tax as much as possible.....................

The most affluent parts of London like Mayfair, Kensington and Chelsea, Hammersmith & Fulham, East Surrey etc don't have many indians living there. The main communities that live in those parts are White people and Arabs. I myself live in Holland Park in K&C. Mainly White, Arab, Spanish, Portuguese and Rissian. No indians here.

The mayor of London is a Pakistani Muslim. Not an indian. That is very indicative of the power and influence of Pakistanis/Muslims in London.

the north south divide is real and people typically earn less up north than down south with some exception in larger northern cities like preston, manchester and leeds. i live up north and have been down south and the differance is real.

But I honestly prefer the North to be honest, yeah the wages are a bit lower, but at least I can buy a bigger house, with plenty of green space all around me for a fraction of the price!

Yet another Indian feel good post to massage their bruised egos. Fact of the matter is very simple. The bulk of migration from pak came from extremely rural and backward socio economic areas such as mirpur (Managla Dam), dina, gujarkhan, ghor gushti, attock. whereas most indian migration came from places like more urban areas such as Jalandhar, Surat, Bharuch, and the mercantile indian communities from africa such as uganda, malawi, kenya etc. It is purely a generational thing and one or two generations later you will see a marked difference. Its not rocket science.

The mayor of London is a Pakistani Muslim. Not an indian. The mayor of London wields a lot of political power in the British government and in Europe too. That tells you the REAL power, prestige and influence Pakistanis have in London and the UK as a whole.
