The person behind this was born in India.
Thats very Smart Racism of UK using a Indian born editor to put forward its racist ,colonial ideas disguised as concern for Rising Hindu Nationalism. What has UK or Independent got to do with Our nationalism or the affairs of our country? The person behind this was born in India.
The temple is of Goddess Lakshmi, that everyone knows. But it is at most a couple of decades old. I am sceptical to the notion that the city was called Bhagyanagar before the Islamic invaders came. Sample the names of the city and the places around. A name like Bhagyanagar does not fit in at all.Call it whatever you want, but Bhagyanagar was the name of the city before Islamic invaders came. The temple is that of Lakshmi not Bhagmati and there is enough proofs to prove it.

He wasn't used. HE WAS BEHIND IT. Take it up with him if you don't like it.Thats very Smart Racism of UK using a Indian born editor to put forward its racist ,colonial ideas disguised as concern for Rising Hindu Nationalism. What has UK or Independent got to do with Our nationalism or the affairs of our country?
You never answered that question.
Stubborn because Bhagmati was a fictional character at best. You ask questions about Hindu gods mode of travel, just like we would ask you the need to pray 5 times a day, does not your god listen to you once if prayed that you have to remind him everyday 5 times to look after you?why are you being stubborn on this?? was the "archeological survey of india" ( asi ) able to prove that the lakshmi temple in the charminar building existent before charminar?? do you see why i wrote "tejo mahalaya" before??
@rubyjackass posted a different view to yours :
can you describe the process of "love jihad" and its main centers of prevalence?? in my whole life i have never come across a single case.
i did name the catholic church of kerala to be a culprit in creation of the "love jihad" mythical scare.
Changing a city name of another country to colonial times name to showcase concern of Rising Hindu Nationalism, dont happen without the consent of the stakeholders and higher ups in that Independent board of directors. He wasn't used. HE WAS BEHIND IT. Take it up with him if you don't like it.
A left wing newspaper owned by a Russian with a readership of 58000 is trying to bring back colonialism?Stubborn because Bhagmati was a fictional character at best. The temples existed even before the Nizams came in.
You being a Mullah who is a ardent follower of Love jihad should know it better since you want hindu males and their mothers to be killed off and hindu females left for mullahs like you as you posted previously.
Those who are Selectively Blinded will never see a single case. While the Christians in Kerala raised this issue and took it High court.Yep you never saw a case indeed.

What Independent and UK is trying to peddle is Racism and impose its colonial views on its former colonies.
You do know that Golconda fort was named after Golla Konda (Sheperds hill) before the Nizams came there was a fort ruled by Kakatiya Dynasty from Warangal. The name Bhagyangar comes from that time before the Islamic Invaders came. The temple is of Goddess Lakshmi, that everyone knows. But it is at most a couple of decades old. I am sceptical to the notion that the city was called Bhagyanagar before the Islamic invaders came. Sample the names of the city and the places around. Yep, just like UK which went ballistic with reports of how Indian Space programme money can be used for other things when UK was giving aid( which we refused to take) and the outrage from UK papers on how dare a colony who still takes aid launch satellites. The imperialist hangover has not left yet i guess.Still some think they are lords of this land to order around.A left wing newspaper owned by a Russian with a readership of 58000 is trying to bring back colonialism?

Yes Golla Konda fits with the local naming style. Bhagyanagar does not. There was not much of a city other than the fort at that time. You do know that Golconda fort was named after Golla Konda (Sheperds hill) before the Nizams came there was a fort ruled by Kakatiya Dynasty from Warangal. The name Bhagyangar comes from that time before the Islamic Invaders came.
Mate you are going to waste your time if you think you can convince him/them with facts and logic, I wouldn't really want to waste my time hence not gonna get into it. .Anyways for your reference....arre mian, i asked you in my previous post to quote the particular section in that wikipedia article where is given that queen bhagmati never existed.
can you prove that the lakshmi temple is historical and existed before charminar was built?? again i quote the wikipedia entry for "bhagyalakshmi temple"[1] :
and let us not indulge in the debate as to whether the goddess lakshmi exists or not, let alone argue her mode of travel if she should decide to move away from hyderabad ( where in hyd does she live?? ).
and "love jihad" is a fiction created by the sangh and some of their supporters in the catholic churches of kerala... these people use this scare to oppress hindu ladies and christian ladies by preventing through coercion and violence from exercising their human right of being with whichever man they wanted.
lastly, i will tag @The_Showstopper here.
edit : @rubyjackass , i momentarily forgot that you too are a hyderabadi so didn't tag you above.

Initially I was not in favor of Bombay being renamed as Mumbai (using power!) ..Shiv sena after coming to power did only 2 things, built bridges (good job) and re-named streets/places/parks by the name of their idols including father and mother of Bal Thackery!!!!!...not much different than what Mayawati did in UP... ..
But over the period of time, I actually started liking it calling Mumbai..it sounds much sweeter than Bombay! But my grandpa used to call it Bombay until his last breath as for him it was too much of change at his age!
And, I still see Bombay High Court and Madras High Court didn't become party in the rechristening ceremony!
Any Marathi person, when speaking in Marathi, has always called it Mumbai (even when the 'official' name was Bombay). Still calls it Mumbai. So this is not just the decision of some political party.
WTF is a local naming style? Golla Konda means (Shepherds Hill). That is why we have SADAR AFTER DIWALI with all the YADAVS coming together and celebrating it 2 days after Diwali! Ever been to SADAR?Yes Golla Konda fits with the local naming style. Bhagyanagar does not. There was not much of a city other than the fort at that time.
Here is my assessment of both theories:
Kakatiyas might have named it Bhagyanagar with a remote chance, I am not denying it. I am just saying the name is not fitting with the local style and so I call the chance as remote. It has as much chance as the Bhagmati story to be true, slightly more if you ask me because someone who named their kids PratapaRudra could have easily named a city as Bhagyanagar.
But some details of the Bhagmati story do add up. The Qutub Shahis were known to tolerate and even promote local languages. Not surprising if the guy developed a liking from his wife.
They did. At least that is what history tells us. Most names around Hyderabad are either Turkish or based on local tribal naming which does not conform to Sanskrit naming like Bhagyanagar. The Bhagmati story might be a fake. But so might me the theory that it was named after a goddess. Whatever way you argue definitely the temple near Charminar is a new construction. Has no basis in history.WTF is a local naming style? Golla Konda means (Shepherds Hill). That is why we have SADAR AFTER DIWALI with all the YADAVS coming together and celebrating it 2 days after Diwali! Ever been to SADAR?
Remote Chance? REALLY? What is local style? TELUGU OR URDU?
Bhagmati story is a fake created.
Prataparudra name comes from Vijayanagara Kingdom. Not from your Mullah Kingdom.
You mean a Iranian idiot who got converted themselves where Zoroastrianism was condemned with death and conversion to Islam(SHIA) and where Zoroastrians came here as Asylum Seekers actually became our LORDS? will tolerate local languages? What a load of SHI*
What is Not Surprising is you feeding your Brethrens Jihad.
