lool But we were the one who colonised America isnt it? We are like a mother to them(though the child has now outgrown the mother, however a child will always be his mothers child even when he's an adult and is bigger than her.), they still speak our language and learned/copied alot from us(divide and rule etc).

No. It is called the White House after it was repainted in white to hide the black soot and scorch marks from when the British set it alight. The name itself commemorates this history of both the building and the young country at that time.
