Trump may not be well read, and some have even speculated that he may be dyslexic, but those who knew him well, positively or negatively, described him with above average intelligence.

Trump is more shrewd than most realize. He maybe a narcissist, a womanizer, an opportunist, a liar, or simply an overall immoral man, but the last thing Trump is -- is stupid.

There is an old adage in the martial arts: 'A good fighter hides his weaknesses. But a great fighter uses them.'

Trump does not hide his weaknesses, as in all the things listed above. He may not boast about them, but he is willing to let his opponents/competitors/enemies uses them to underestimate him. Trump is shrewd in the tactical sense. He knows that his moral deficiencies will be preeminent in your mind and that will precondition you about him. Then he outmaneuvers you where it matters most. Keep in mind Trump beat out 16 other Republican candidates to win the 2016 Republican nomination.

The world seriously underestimated Trump. Now, in a manner of speaking, you will pay for that error.

Am not right wing. And it looks like it is YOU who are having a meltdown. What I did was explained my observation of Trump, not saying anything about support for him. I have made it clear in other threads to other people that I despises Trump, both as a person and as a politician.

But objectively speaking, what I said about Trump is correct. Trump is a master at getting people to underestimate him. His bombast and outsize personality serves his FIRST goal about you, which is to distract your attention away from what he wants from you. Trump works for the 'now' as you poke at him for his past. It is working in this little corner of the Internet and it is working in Europe and Asia. Trump does not care if the refined European leaders thinks the worst of him. Before the presidency, he had the resources of his business to fly him around, now he has the wealth and might of the most powerful country in the world to change the course of history. Do you really believe Trump gives even a shit of what Merkel or Trudeau thinks of him?

Disrespect him all you want. I encourage you to do so. But that is the extent of your effects on US.
