Britain apologizes for tweet marking 200 years since White House burned

No it isn't, who do you think you are?

Sure it is. It can be an interesting debate on what if scenario on U.S. were still a colony of the British Empire and how much of an impact it would have on the world.

You can count me out on that, I don't like a lot of America's policies foreign and internal and other stuff but I wouldn't go so far as to have a debate were the US still a colony of the British Empire. That's just anti-American even in a what if scenario, you can talk about it if you want but IMO there is no debate.

Same for India.

Nope. We don't go around spying on everybody. I mean I even hide my dinner for fear that the CIA may realize that I eat way too expensive dinners for the income I'm declaring on my tax returns and that they may report me to the tax authorities

No more than the U.S. does. India has no relationship with the queen.

How can India have no relationship with the queen yet at the same time be a member of the Commonwealth with the Head being the Queen?

The U.S. isn't a member of the Commonwealth.

The U.S. isn't a member of the Commonwealth.

How should it matter who the head of the Commonwealth is? Any more than who heads the U.N.? That's just a position for that particular organisation.
