What do news channels do ? Do they try to gain attention too or they citing some " real cases". Do you quietly acknowledge the crime when news channels report them do you go do a private investigation to prove/disprove their legitimacy ?

Crime is very much possible, infact i mentioned two such real crimes on previous page but they were real where one was personally narrated to me by people in the field plus other one was shared by an ngo worker , and she was fighting for her patients whose name and details were made open. And all their stories were believable, not some fake made up shytt to gain attention.

And when media reports they report names of victims. police holds press briefings where victims or criminals are shown on channels with senior hi rank police officers present at those press meets, those shos , dpos names can be confirmed by any provincial gov website.

What stops crime is high conviction rates, the fear of getting caught is what will halt crime and the first step to that is giving children the ability to report such incidents. You genius "sex education" (your words not mine) isn't teaching kids about sexual intercourse or developing their sexuality it is about making kids aware of what sexual abuse is in the first place. How are you supposed to report a crime that you don't even realize is a crime ? About 90% of the cases in child abuse in Pakistan is done by relatives, to the children its all "okay" because they think that it is normal for relatives to act this way.

In the west, children are taught about qualifies as a "bad touch" and it is encouraged in them to report any such incidents to adults. This is the first line of defence, PREVENTION.
