Ohh come on,he might have made a mistake but that doesn't mean that he has to spend 10 precious years of his life inside the prison.I think the judge should take into consideration the amount of money riding on Mr.Khan right at this moment.If he is sentenced to serve 10 years in prison,many Bollywood producers will definitely become bankrupt.I know that he made a mistake but he didn't do it on purpose plus he is a responsible citizen and contribute a sizeble income of his to different charitable organizations,hence instead of this type of harsh punishment he should be sentenced to do a few thousand hours of community service!!

When Dawood is captured he will be behind bars. In case he is not captured (more likely event), he will be eliminated.

Dawood is enjoying life, getting his kids married into respectable families and is now a strategic asset of ISI.

He is going to live a long and comfortable life and so will his kids and family.

I am speaking out against the hype against an accidental killing, vs the wilful blind and mute attitude towards politicians who loot, starve and destroy lives.

Its classic freudenschade. It's a social sickness when we celebrate it publicly.

You misunderstood my statement.I said Salman Khan didn't kill those pavment dwellers on purpose,he is a responsible citizen of this country and contribute a sizeable part of his income to different charitable organization.So,instead of giving him such a harsh punishment,the court should ensure that he takes the responsiblity of the victims's families for the rest of his life and should serve a few thousand hours of community service.

Actually the really ridiculous situation here is seen when you make that comparison. Salman Khan is facing how many years for an act that at best can be attributed to utter recklessness? 10? As opposed to 5 that Sanjay Dutt was sentenced to for an act of willful commission and being involved in one of India's biggest terrorist attack & hobnobbing with the very terrorists who remain India's most wanted?

Salman Khan does deserve punishment, I'm not sure what quantum would be correct but Sanjay Dutt should have been given a much tougher sentence.

most over rated actor.... his acting is very pathetic... his movies which i watched on too much insistence dabang and bodyguard were a torture for my senses and intellect... he should be punished 20 years for these movies as well.

On a serious note, 10 years is less for taking someone's life. Only death penalty can create an example which will prevent others from following his drunk driving footsteps.

You cannot kill people and then donate money to charity and claim to be a saint.

Salman is not exactly a "Responsible citizen" ....... the case against him killing a blackbuck is still going on.

It was irresponsible which resulted in an accident which resulted in deaths. Not a planned murder.

India has the largest number of people dying on the Roads. How many times have you seen people going to jail for Murder in road accidents ? Do you know the percentage of truck drivers who drink and drive ?

Now that you concede Dawood is going to enjoy whatever, it was pointless of you to argue on that. So why not stay silent ?
