There is a reason why no competitor is allowed in that sector.

A crash of a competing company is "HIGHLIGHTED" as flaw in Technology and engineering however any flaws by Airbus or Boeing are merely pilot faults

But isn't it possible to nose dive and gain some speed and then pull the aircraft upward to reduce the falling speed and get some forward acceleration,? or may need changes to aerodynamics to make such handling of aircraft,? I mean gliding?

if it is Just stalling, what ever you said is the procedure, but if it stalls deep and yaws, chances of belly flop, then it is tough to recover, then it is out of control.

I said it many times , the 2 Engine Boeing and Airbus planes are not safe ..... for flights over sea
and these accidents happening are proof ,that these planes are UNDEPENDABLE

Why were there less accidents before , simple planes had 4 engines , if 1 failed the 3 engines carried the plane safely to airports

JAKARTA: An object spotted during a sea search for an AirAsia plane was not from the aircraft, Indonesia's vice president said on Monday (Dec 29), after reports that an Australian surveillance aircraft had found something.

"It has been checked and no sufficient evidence was found to confirm what was reported," Jusuf Kalla told a press conference at Surabaya airport from where the ill-fated plane departed.

Kalla said there were 15 ships and 30 aircraft searching the area. "It is not an easy operation in the sea, especially in bad weather like this," he said.

Indonesian Air Force spokesman Hadi Tjahjanto told AFP the search was now focused on a patch of oil spotted off Belitung island in the Java Sea. "We are making sure whether it was avtur (aviation fuel) from the AirAsia plane or from a vessel because that location is a shipping line," he said.

Australia, Singapore and Malaysia have deployed planes and ships to assist in the Indonesian search for Flight QZ8501, which disappeared over the Java Sea on Sunday en route to Singapore.
