2008 Sejil solid missile was unveiled.
Iran still doesn’t have a solid large first stage engine nearly 12 years later. It’s obvious the program has struggled.
Meanwhile NK has gone from crappy Tapedong-2 to H-14, H-15 and reached ICBM status in half that time.
The proof is in the pudding. It doesn’t take 12 years to build a solid first stage engine. And this program has likely even going on since early 2000’s.
H-14 and H-15 are both clumsy liquid fuel ICBMs. Literally ICBMs in name only, not very survivable, road-mobile only, very long fuelling times etc.
