BREAKING: Hezbollah says it stands in support of Pakistan and Kashmir’s right to self determination

No sectarian filth to be posted here. The discussion must remain on topic from strategical point of view. A genralization may be resort for the one to stay relevant but that is not the case when it comes to Pakistan.

Pakistan didn't support any regime. Read my post again and then official statements.

If you're talking about Pakistan's stance on Syrian Civil War,

.

That is against foreign intervention and Pakistan didn't support any specific party in domestic conflict.

“It is our considered view that any outside intervention would further complicate an already very complex situation. It must be avoided,”

“Syria needs political space to find a peaceful solution and reestablish its societal equilibrium by engaging all sides. Syria must forge its own destiny in accordance with the aspirations of its people,”

“Prolonged instability in Syria would have serious consequences for the region, Muslim Ummah and, in fact, for the entire world. As Syria bleeds, we must eschew the temptation of taking sides. It is time to find commonly agreed solutions to stop the bloodbath in Syria.”

You do understand the communication of FO. Pakistan was against any kind of foreign intervention in Syria as well as any kind of attempt to topple the government.

@Joe1351

1. Multiple US government, military and intelligence officials have stated, on the record, that they have no evidence or information proving the Pakistani government or Pakistani institutions helped shelter, hide or support OBL or Al Qaeda or ISIS.

If you somehow have evidence that contradicts all of them, please do share it and maybe provide it to the US Government as well, because they’ve stated clearly on the record that they have jack shite.

2. FATF is responsible for addressing loopholes in laws, regulations and implementation of said laws and regulations with respect to money laundering, terrorism financing etc. It is not some kind of indictment of ‘support for terrorism’ or ‘support for AQ’ or any other group.

Please don’t flame and troll the forum with unsubstantiated and ill informed claims. Everything I’ve pointed out above is available with a simple google search.

They are terrorists to Israel. They are freedom fighters to Palestinians.

Sound familiar? That's because it is. Switch the words.

They are terrorists to India. They are freedom fighters to Kashmiris.

wrong. Go check the UN list of proscribed terrorist organizations.

@cocomo

In support of @The Eagle comments. The argument you could make without being seen as inflammatory is simply one that focuses on deliberate ISIS/AQ attacks on non-combatants vs deliberate Hezbollah attacks on non-combatants.

Has Hezbollah engaged in such deliberate attacks? Do they continue to support such attacks? That’s the differentiator, not which sect or faith or ethnic group one or the other group attacks.

A non-combatant is a non-combatant - whether Sunni, Shia, Christian, Jew, Hindi, Buddhist etc. Focusing on one particular sect or faith tends to cause misinterpretations and a lot of sect vs sect or faith vs faith back and forth - we know this from experience.

Srinagar: Deputy Secretary-General of Hezbollah, Sheikh Naim Qassem has extended his support for the people of Jammu and Kashmir demanding the right to self-determination.

“Yes, we support Kashmir and Kashmiris who are fighting for their right to self determination, because it is only this that will achieve a legal and political solution,” Qassem said.

Besides this, Qassem also reiterated his loyalty to Pakistan for their assistance to the Palestinian cause.

“I want to tell you that we have seen Pakistan closely, and seen them supporting the Palestinian cause in total. It is this that has convinced us in letter and spirit,” he said.

Qassim made these comments, while speaking on the 32nd death anniversary of Arif Hussain Al Hussaini.

In the video shared on social media, Qassem can be heard saying that, Hezbollah stands with the people of Pakistan and will support them.

Hassan Nasrallah is the current Secretary General of Hezbollah since his predecessor, Abbas al-Musawi, was assassinated by the Israel Defense Forces in February 1992.
Orders from iran?

It's obvious, first time Pakistan publicly expressed its displeasure with the Saudis and the Iranian regime took as a window of opportunity.

Saudis panties must be in twist now. American policy to support its sugarbabby India via Riyad is a self goal which Saudi establishment must avoid at all cost. Repercussions are far worse then the lollipop if investment in India, a very unstable country, against losing ground on their own backyard in middle east if and when Pakistan decide, enough is enough.

Overall a win win situation for Pakistan.

Orders from iran?

I don't think. Hezbollah have been supportive of Kashmir cause since the 90s. There were training camps in Qom, Iran where Hezbollah Officers trained Kashmiri Mujahideen until it stopped under American pressure and Pakistan parted it's ways to solely lead the battle.

Hezbollah has respect of most of the Muslim world. They also have the support of many individuals from the Middle East. If Hezbollah openly supports the Kashmiri struggle against the Indians and is pro Pakistan then it is better for us. The Indians have been saying in the media that the Shias are happy in occupied Kashmir as they are no longer the minority. Hezbollah support will change this mindset.

The Israelis have been supporting India for along time against Pakistan and I have always maintained we should support both Hamas and Hezbollah. Israel is as much enemy of ours as India is.

a cop chasing the robber is not the same as a robber chasing his victim. The intents matter.

Hmm interesting analogy...

however fact does remain india arms and trains BLA and directs them to attack among other things Chinese targets. the APS massare of 150 school children was organized by India that too on 16th Dec

on Kashmir it is 100% India’s fault from state terrorism to shamelessly refusing to implement UN resolutions.
