For a smart person like you to imply that every foreigner residing in their adopted homeland should completely tow the official policies is below you. Have you checked out the 'Comments' in NY Times coverage of the current Venezuelan crisis? Or the coverage in the American Conservative Amconmag.com (Patrick J. Buchannan's site)? The former is a bastion of liberalism while the latter is that of the old-fashioned conservatism. But both are very much against American interference in Venuezuela.

It's sad that people single out immigrants for expressing views contrary to their adopted homeland's official (and often wrong) policies. The doors to Fascism and even lynching opens via such expectations.

It may be okay for one individual to sit in country X and comment on country Y. When scores of Pakistani citizens support Maduro (after he has brought Venezuela to the knees) to spite America it deserves a brutal response.

I gave you a thumbs up for bringing up American local political angle, however unconnected or unlikely that maybe. I just don't know. But I give Thanks to any post which gives me a different perspective. I do so all the time on this forum.

But this 'Bolton and Pompeo tease' against Trump is a garbage argument. You are trying to present Trump as a peace maker while, in reality, even if he were that he is just another 'composite' American President beholden to the Lobbies which brought him to power in the first place. Same was Obama. And before him. hamstrung by the Lobbies. If Trump was such a genuine peace maker he would have said 'You are fired!'. Why not now?

You may have watched 'Nixon' starring Anthony Hopkins? There's a dialog about who REALLY elects American Presidents. I believe special interests and lobbies do so at the cost of average Americans. Money is stolen from poor average Americans by these GDamned Lobbies and special interest groups! Americans are THE MOST productive group of laborers in this world and yet can't afford healthcare and education costs. Thieves stealing. Thieves like the proponents of policies like in Venezuela!!

And, yes, it doesn't matter WHO says it: No 'brutal response' is needed when truth is spoken. Why don't you go to the American Conservative site and give your brutal response there?

Anyway, I am not into prolonged debates. On some level I respect your opinions but this time I had to tell you and others that immigrants having differing opinions doesn't make it an offense. If you so believe then you open the door to Fascism.

Maduro regime is one of the most corrupt in existence; thanks to this regime, Venezuela is a FAILED economy (and country) in spite of being blessed with incredible amount of natural resources.

Donald Trump said NO to Pentagon in regards to the latter's plans for Afghanistan and Syria; digest this for a moment. This guy is legit and does not rush to decisions. He is no puppet because people supported him from numerous corners of the country, and he made the Clintons tap out.

I am saying it - Donald Trump will go down in history as one of the most memorable and intriguing American presidents. He have exposed Democrats in a big way - all that Russian collusion nonsense for instance.
