What's new

Brahmaputra dries up in Arunachal Pradesh town! Is China responsible?

Touch our Indus River Indians and we will show you what we are made out of.

We have 21 Dams in J&K , and we are building another 30 Dams
which will be completed between 2014-17
We have also embarked upon 100 Billion USD River Linking Project , to divert surplus water from some rivers to those with deficient supply

And when all these projects are completed , then we will decide when to send water to Pakistan and Bangladesh
ie we will only release water during the months of July , august and september , when we have surplus water

Probably not. Remember that you have a nuclear armed neighbor beside that is much stronger than Bangladesh, you don't want to risk your country more. Remember what's happening in Kashmir and Mumbai 2008 attacks, imagine if our water is taken away. What will happen to you? :azn:

They wouldn't dare to stop the water buddy.

Stopping the flow of water is equivalent to a nuclear attack, in the number of casualties it would cause.

That will invite a nuclear response, and everyone knows it.

That's strange considering that the Chinese are claiming Arunachal as their own territory, but turning it into a desert!! Why the dickens should they do that? Jeeez!

Not desert. Because Tsangpo don't have that much of water that without it arunachal could turn into desert but they can make flood using its water which is main concern. If they do that than assam and bangladesh(especially) will be in trouble. Arunachal will not face that much of trouble because there are tens of more river left and siang is very big river because of its tributary which is under our control.

LOL ur government thinks otherwise and the International forum too..... Pity
