Will it be Rishi, Sajid, Priti & co. now?
So, hail our new desi overlords
One remarkable thing Raab is likely out. It will be a grand political failure, the guy spent half his life looking at PM's chair
Not a snowball chance in hell.....Rishi is hated universally for being a stooge and indifferent to the population with his lavish life and tax avoiding Mrs. Sajid is better but again a chancer who ducks and dives and doesn't have much substance.
Priti is widely considered as one of the most inept politicians in years, and her handling of anything related to home affairs has been awful.
Just another day in the western democracies....lose confidence or majority, move on!
But never the case in Pakistan.
My comment was mostly for the Pakistani gallery. Not one leader in Pakistan ever admits that things were bad in their time which led to the loss of confidence.I have to disagree. The chair was shaking under Khan. Were his performance even half as bad, he wouldn't have seen so much desertions. Here UK's, and Pakistan's parliaments look rather similar: leaders are many times more vulnerable to internal revolts than direct opposition.

Indeed, I am surprised with this completely improbably outcome — I cannot see these guys themselves being able to hold onto that job for more than a few months, yet they did it.
No , anti China trash who suffer the same dismay fate like Shinzon Abe or Scott Morrison.victim of russo-ukraine conflict. Putin is smiling...
A reminder of Boris Johnson, the person. As per known records, he has made 5 women pregnant while being married. Somehow I think that's enough to tell me he is a walking catastrophe.
No foreign conspiracy, no attempt to dissolve parliament, no speaker out to save his PM, no blaming xyz for being ousted? The difference is even more stark when you consider that Bojo had a massive majority and bowed out, our guy was propped up by establishment types and lost his thin majority, but still refused to budge.
Btw, this is a long standing tradition in the Tory party, their most powerful leaders they remove internally. Margaret Thatcher had a majority for the third time in a row -- kicked out of PM-ship by her own party.
Another noteworthy point, Chancellor of the Exchequer is arguably the most powerful after the PM, former Chancellor was Pakistani (Sajid Javid), last one was Indian (Rishi Sunak), current one of Iraqi origin (Nadhim Zahawi). Home Secretary is probably up there as the second most powerful ministry , previous incumbent was again Pakistani (Sajid Javid), current one is Indian (Priti Patel). And let's also not forget, this is the Conservative party, not lefties but a mix of modern liberals, capitalists and old boys of Bullingdon. Then there's the Pakistani London Mayor too.... the point being that it seems that British Asians might actually be overrepresented in British politicial leadership for the first time in history? @waz
