''Blinders'' Played Crucial Role in PAF Assault

If ALQ-211 have played the part of EW then it debunk the claim by PAF that no F-16 was near the Indian border / were not use in combat .:undecided:
when did we claim that F16 were not near the border, all we said that F16 never struck indian ground positions

The realm of possibility is not exactly as rigid as you have stated. Only time will tell.

By the way, according to a certain CATIC marketing brochure, AMRAAMs are already part of JF17s options.

On the other hand, there is certainly no such known official weapons certification on the platform ddue not just to the obvious reasons. Everyone is free to infer their own meaning of the manufacturers promo.

I'm sure PAF is always striving to diversify and get the most out of what is at hand.

I'll stand by what I have said..
Because of various reason such as shielding datalink communication from brute force jamming, this is not possible unless US and China work together to bring out a solution.

Have no brain? F-16 were not used for the strike but yes of course used for defensive purpose. Got it? Now tell me who the heck told you that f-16 were not near the border or LoC?

Pakistan should also start considering new platforms ....

HAVASOJ Stand-Off Jammer Aircraft

The stand-off jammer will have the capability to paralyze air defense systems from a distance of 400 kilometers, an effective assistance in air raids. The aircraft can jam radar, radio and phone systems effectively from a safe distance. Any long-range missile threat will be eliminated without the execution of the country's air defence systems. Warplanes escorted by the jammer aircraft essentially turn into "phantom" planes, as it makes their detection by enemy air defense impossible.

that was used as standard acronym for advance medium range missile for SD-10 or any other supported BVR but not specifically for AIM-120

Yes, sneaky little sons of guns our Chinese friends, lol. The use of SRAAM and JDAM gives it away too but there is always the possibility of diversification and making the most out of whatever is at hand or PAF might have chosen to be good boys and go by the book so to speak.

As far as the realm of possibility is concerned, JF17 is capable of at least a fire and forget AIM-120 without terminal guidance (while a relevant data link asset may still provide it mid course correction if required) until the missiles own radar locks on for a kill.
