BJP support group bats for Conservatives in 48 key UK seats

So are you implying that religious missionary activities are comparable with religious leaders encouraging citizens to vote for a certain political party or even worse, British MPs to serve Indian state interests, due to influence from a foreign country? In England, only one of those activities is illegal. Give it time. The paper trail will come to the surface. It always does.
Missionary activities are political in nature. UK law is too ambiguous to make any consistent sense and hence is open to interpretations so that the administration can have wide discretion power without accountability. That does not mean anything to India. When UK is dealing, it can't deal in its domestic laws.

If - as is implied by the OP in this thread - Hindustan is doing what Russia, Saudi Arabia, and others have done in recent years, in terms of grooming certain politicians with financial incentives or even grooming the electorate ideologically, you'd better hope that India has some robust defence in place to respond to inevitable accusations against Indian diplomats, mandirs, private citizens or anyone else who wishes to tread that particular high risk path.

Legislation is in place against real time coercion, manipulation of voters or candidates, also against foreign origin donations above £500 (no matter how it gets laundered in the UK), and against online disinformation campaigns.

Hindutva is being watched.

India does not care what UK says. India does not take orders from UK. Secondly, India does not need UK in any manner whereas a lot of UK political and social life can be harmed by India. If UK has a problem with its own deceptive policies which it has used to fool everyone, it is their own fault. Indian origin citizens of UK have rights to contest elections and they can campaign too, regardless of what you say. Moreover, many Indians in UK are rich and can fund a lot of campaigns themselves.
