What I have heard they fund different NGOs in India especially for such kind of research about caste system, slums, poverty, superstition and different social problems in India. I am not denying that such problem don't exist but these western countries also have agenda by stereotyping India. Infact, you talk foreigners, it seems they had been fed with exaggerated propaganda regarding many social problems of India and extremely difficult to convince them.

And it has nothing to do with propaganda. Its a normal phenomenon. If you want to understand a different culture or country, you have to go there and live there for a long time to fully understand it. (In case of India its even harder).

I am not talking about the opinion of some British boulevard magazines but about this specific survey.

If you think that a scientific piece of work is wrong you have to bring in proper arguments and not the kind of stuff you are writing.

This survey was done by academics and they produced empirical data... and not a Daily Mail article written by a 3rd grade journalist.

I could conduct a survey to prove that sun rises from west,90 % of population has Aids, 100% of adults are Sodomites, your mother is a goat, name anything and i could tailor a survey to give a predefined result. I just have to frame questions and select my sample judiciously.

Surveys done by Social Scientists are nor worth the value of paper they are written upon. All and i say all of them are propaganda pieces to satisfy ideology of person ordering that survey.

These are actually not Hinduism but thousand years practice of living here. Without bigotry practices we adopted all. As our way of life isnt similar to Arab world. Like marrying one woman only thrown out dowry practices. Thrown out caste system and made all same. We have no sectarian practices in BD. And people are more proud themselves as they dont think animals are better than them.
