The Caste system can be made to vanish permanently.....just stop segregating people based on caste in the name of giving them special benefits....

A study showed(read in a newspaper) that the representation of the so called 'lower' caste people in various institutions in our society would be the same without the caste based benefit schemes.....hence, the segregation doesn't serve any real purpose, only political....

Once people stop registering with their caste identities for those benefits, the next generation will automatically forget what the 'caste' was all about.....due to lack of documents/certificates, their subsequent generations will find it difficult to know what their caste is and slowly the system will be History......

Govt. should provide benefits based on economic conditions......
