i believe in preservation of Hindu Majority without Harming Minority and assimilating Minorities into one "Indian" identity. Sikhs, Budhists, jains, Muslims, Christians and Atheists etc are our own brothers and we should not Fight based on ideologies but work with Each other for better Future of Both Communities.

while Far rights are those who bans beef, things vedas and quaran are source of all scientific discovering, we have all answers in our religious books, pushpak vimanas, vedic meths, Islamic science etc. , Destroy all mosques for tit for tat, most of Mosques are built apron hindus temples. you can find far right in both Majority and Minority camp.

If so, that scoundrel Bibek Deb-Roy, who is one of the three or four Sanghi brains in Economics, has written a monumental translation of the Mahabharata, but in, I think, ten or fifteen volumes. It's heavy going. I haven't read it all, but the translation is very detailed.

On the other hand, when Kamala Subrahmaniam found that she had a very little while left to live, she devoted her life to making very readable versions, in English, of both the Ramayana and the Mahabharata. They are not controversial, but eminently readable; I used to read her Mahabharata from time to time, because it's such a ripping good story. Strongly recommended, bless her for her sacrifice.

I don't like reading the Ramayana quite so much. It has elements which really trouble me, myth though it is. It also figures my namesake as a heroic loser, slain by treachery and deceit; not very nice to read. And the eponymous hero is such a smarmy, self-satisfied prig that the work is a bit rich for the digestion. Not like the earthy people from the Mahabharata.

I am but for a 10-12 volumes series ? i don't think so. also, i am not that interested in details. just the summarized version (2-3 books maximum) to know the basic story.

exactly what i was going to ask. it state figures (e.g; ages and number of troops) which are too much to be true (hard to digest). e.g; Ramayna says that Dasrat ruled ayodhya for 30,000 years. similarly when Ram fought 14,000 rakhshahs single handedly. though i don't want to hurt sentiments of fellow hindus by calling Ramayna a fairy tale, i am only saying that "some of it's parts" seems too much.
