C'mon man, Arundhoti Roy at least wrote one book. What has this woman done? Of course, she is likely to get many books written about her. Dunno if that will count?

She has done what few people thought was ever possible - dislodged the Commies from Bengal single-handedly. That is not something everybody can claim to do. She has also allegedly crushed the Maoists in West Bengal. She is a fighter all the way.

Dislodging the Marxists was the easy part. With their arrogance; the Marxists had cut the ground below their own feet.
But the Maoists have not been crushed, not yet. They have been subdued and they have in fact moved from WB to neighboring states (into more inhospitable terrain) to lick their wounds. I will not write them off just yet, anywhere. The conditions that led to their creation still exist and a blow-back is still possible.

Otherwise Arundhoti and Mamata share one characteristic- of being nuerotic. In the long run; Mamata is likely to do more damage to WB than the Marxists did.
