Good move, diversification is always good, but I don't think Ukrainian manufacturers have collapsed, from what I hear, their military industrial complex is still intact despite chaotic situation previously in the country !!!
@A-Team how is the isolation going sir? .
my issue is why u r soo much worried about pakistan and not ur country.who visit urs?Belarus is like North Korea, a country isolated as well So one isolated country visit another.
BTW when was the last time a heavy weight head of democratic, military or economic powerhouse visited Pakistan? x
excpetion is China.
I may be wrong though.
Anyways frankly I don't want Pakistan to be isolated, an isolated and one who back is against the wall is bad for all of us, what I want is a Pakistan is at peace with her neighbours, an economically and strong Pakistan. A Pakistan that deals her issues with her neighbours via peaceful means and not via backing proxies.

As far as Isolation . We just got our export orders for 100 Aircraft's to Turkey and 40-50 JF -17 Thunder Fighter jets to Nigeria . If that is isolation than may God have many more isolated Countries like us
Well dude the main policy of Pakistan is that the government in Afghanistan should always remain friendly or under Pakistani influence. And as soon as current government tried to move to indian camp. It was necessary for Pakistan to either reason with afghans not to do that or just simply make a life living hell for that government. When first option failed we moved to secondOk then I stand corrected
But anyways I believe in pan-regional development so for me Pakistani being isolated is a bad thing in greater scheme of things. I dont believe in petty differences or that my village is better than yours
But I do stand up for Afghan interests when threatened by Pakistan or anyone else.
Right now Pakistan is threatening Afghan interests by running an insurgency through proxies and thus me raising my voice on how Pakistan can be made to change course. Does insulation help in short to change that outlook or behaviour , maybe yes maybe no.

Minsk Close To A Major Deal With Pakistan?
During a recent visit by Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, President Lukashenka emphasised the importance of defence cooperation with Pakistan. On 5-12 August, the Pakistani delegation headed by the Federal Minister for Defense Production Rana Tanveer Hussain visited Belarus. They participated in the 1st Meeting of the Joint Belarus-Pakistani Commission on Military Technical Cooperation.
Belarus-Pakistani defence cooperation has progressed for at least two years. The parties signed an intergovernmental agreement on military technical cooperation in Islamabad on 29 May 2015.
Tanveer Hussain visited Belarus for the first time in July 2014, and after that contacts between Belarusian and Pakistani defence officials continued. The two countries undoubtedly are working on some major deal, which is very likely to involve Pakistan's ability to modernise mechanised armour.
Pakistan bought a large quantity of Soviet tanks from Ukraine in the 1990s. Belarus provides sophisticated electronic and optic components for similar Russian tanks, so Pakistan may turn to Minsk for them. Another possibility is Minsk providing a comprehensive upgrade program for the Pakistani tanks now as their Ukrainian manufacturers have collapsed.

Time to get these
The Belarusian armed forces decommissioned completely in the early 2010s two more advanced types of aircrafts: the Su-24 bomber and the Su-27 fighter, as well as many planes of other types. In the most recent development, on 29 August the Commander of the Belarus Air Force and Air Defence, Major General Aleh Dvihalyou said that the army “is currently considering the possibility” of replacing the Su-25 close air support aircraft with the Yak-130.

Belarus is retiring su-24 and su-27. and they are buying Yak-130 but people are not satisfied with yak-130s performance.
Belarus has Mig-29 and if i'm not wrong there are strong possibility that Belarus might be looking for JF-17. as both Mig-29 and JF-17 uses same engine and Belarus need another aircraft.
The same can be said of the NUG

Well it all started in 1950's . Pakistan wanted which you described as friendly relationship with Afghanistan. But they shouted pashtunistan . And i hope you also know Afghanistan was the only country that didn't accepted Pakistan in UN and attacked us. And got defeated. After that any sane government and military leadership would not trust them. Same is the case with Pakistani Government and Establishment. That is why when I said friendly or government which it can influence. There you go that is the problem, Afghan narrative is this we will remain friendly to Pakistan because that is how neighbours should be plus we would be naive to be in conflict with you guys, but saying that Afghanistan must be under influence then that is a deal breaker, I mean big powers than Pakistan tried that, you should ask them how did it go for them.
So friendly yes, but will never be under influence.
We have not moved to the Indian camp, we are in our own camp, just like Iran and we make relationship with anyone based on ur interests and its non of Pakistan's business to tell us who we should be friends with.
Why are you friends with China? you see it sounds dumb coming outside party asking your friendship with China.
So in summary, you want Afghanistan to be mindful of your interests then treat us equal, don't undermine our sovereignty and we will make sure interests in Afghanistan are secure.
Nothing a big ask, but any sane mind should agree.
As for influencing Afghans via proxies, look how is that working.
When we look back we found the good relation ship between Afghanistan and India since 1947, but Afghan govt never involved in any tension between Pak India such as 1948,1965 and 1971 wars. The exist Afghan govt is 100% show Afghanistan as Indian colony, which is fain full for us.There you go that is the problem, Afghan narrative is this we will remain friendly to Pakistan because that is how neighbours should be plus we would be naive to be in conflict with you guys, but saying that Afghanistan must be under influence then that is a deal breaker, I mean big powers than Pakistan tried that, you should ask them how did it go for them.
