BD stays ahead of India in GDP per capita - IMF October 2022 Database

Indian cooked up numbers by their IT cell under Modi don't hold water after a while. Which they mostly cook up for election propaganda and Sanghi voters just lap this crap, up.

Too much evidence against their stories, I mean things have to fall under a global pattern after a while and fraud is just laid bare for all to see.

The most hilarious anecdote I heard some three years ago was when some chest-puffery bhakt idiot was claiming GDP growth and claiming construction growth as proof.

An educated Chinese brother pointed out that the production of cement in India hadn't grown and their imports of cement was also flat.

The Chinese brother than opined that Indian buildings must be built using non cement items, and maybe coconuts....

Indian strategy is to lure foreign investors and they will be so hard in making optimist projection on their country and pesimist projection on any developing and emerging countries that become Indian rival

I can show you projection of Indonesian trade surplus taken by CNBC Indonesia for September 2022 from several banks in Indonesia, and not surprise the Indian analist coming from BNP Paribas show the most pessimistic at 3.5 billion USD while in reality it ends up at 4.99 billion USD....AlhamduliLLAH.

As you can see other Indian analist about Indonesia in my Indonesia trade thread in Indonesian Defense Forum.....:sniper:

Any way, that IMF analyst cannot blame external factor as the reason IMF revision on India economy, external factor should be analyzed before GDP growth projection is released. Even I have already seen it in second semester of 2021 and posted my doubt about Indian projection before their October-Desember 2021 real GDP is released.

Bilal Bhai,

BD's nominal GDP per capita is higher than India. But India's GDP per capita (PPP) is higher, which simply means that BD's taka doesnt buy as much as INR (adjusted for exchange rate). This would also explain why India has beaten BD (and needless to say Pakiland as well) in the latest UNDP MDPI poverty index.

https://hdr.undp.org/sites/default/f..._and_2_en.xlsx

For India the score is 0.069 (16% headcount in poverty, 42% extent of deprivation among the multidimensional poor) ahead of NEP 0.074 (17.5%, 42%), BD 0.104 (24.6%, 42%), PAK 0.198 (38.3%, 52%). SL still remains tops in South Asia with a score of 0.011.

Maybe Neel Akash dada (@bluesky) can pipe in with his well rounded opinion.

Regards
The PPP GDP is directly proportional to nominal GDP. Every South Asian country has a price level ratio of 0.3 because of similar cost of living except Amar Shonar Bangladesh having a PLR of 0.4 which screams “fudged” data loudly.

Bangladeshi Taka buys almost as much as every other South Asian currency irl but inflated figures don’t match with the reality.

for bangladesh india is not something to compete with in terms of economic, social and civil development, goal should be to reach malaysia, indonesia and other SEAN countries.

india is burden for you and beyond cordial economic and diplomatic ties country to be avoided on any other human activity.

@Bilal9

Bilalbhai, BD indeed lies a couple of notches above IND in HDI. But mutidimensional poverty (MPI) looks at a broader range of indices such as access to sanitation, electricity, clean cooking fuel etc. When all those are factored in, India is marginally ahead of BD.

Calm yourself down and do not be envious on your neighbour as they left you in dustbin and is striving towards more ambitous goals.
It is better to look around yourself and introspect why in country of 1.4 billions people is 107 out of 116 countries on world danger of hunger index.
