BBC HARDtalk Stephen Sackur with Ishaq Dar "How many properties do you and your family own?"

He should have asked this question: If Nawaz's accusations about Gen Bajwa are true, then why did PMLN vote for his extension in the parliament?

as long as the statement " innocent till proven guilty " governs the social code.

the government of Pakistan was ever so keen in accepting British of Pakistani descent back who have been involved in grooming and rapes but cannot hold its own citizens accountable.

the hypocrisy will be the reason of our demise
More like.... innocent no matter what....who the **** cares..he is my peer...

This is hardtalk, the finest example in British media of grilling politicians. This guy is good, but Paxman is even better.

True, a fine example of journalism in a democratic society. Heart warming to watch how an outsider journalist with a few days of facts digging at most was able to find out the truth and lay open the glaring hypocrisy of PDM, which many in our society and even on this forum are not willing to accept and try so hard to justify.

Just one example from the interview, even as an outsider felt how positive our foreign policy has been and took apart Ishaq Dar lies and deceits.

Secondly it has made a lot of people realize that how low our media is and how it ponders to wealthy and these dynasties. In fact our media in the grab of projecting democracy has been busy in serving their own interests and has become a political party. How hard our media is trying to imprint nepotism, family dynasties, hate against state and army, justify corruption and promote injustice all in the name of democracy.

If we had 2-3 persons like him in Pakistan instead of the what's app journalists trying to teach us their masters version of democracy, we would have ended this MOROUSI siasat a decade ago.

Religious discussions are not allowed
I did bold the part "seems". Actual justice, will only be done day of judgement, as long as majority still believes that some sort of justice is being done in some sort of way. Good enough.
This only applies when powerful cheat the system.

Yup. And they are consistent - I remember Asad Umar getting grilled similarly for his policies in the same show. Only thing that was at a bad taste is when they cutout/censored the bit regarding Kulbhushan Yadav.

But before I get carried away, these channels (bbc, Jazeera) still are loyal to the states interests in the end - they critique but there is always a certain angle under which the core policies, interests and values are projected and protected overall. Where as our media likes to throw the state and local values under the bus as a first, unless institutions push certain buttons in the backend to correct course - which then again is a separate problem in its own.

Some serious allegations on NAB, Army, even specific names taken. Why no buddy moves to Sue him to prove the allegations or face the consequences in case otherwise ?

This is most Pakistanis landing in a western country and realizing someone doesn’t fear your connections or cares for your bribes.

If they try there antics in the West they would be trashed not just by white's but by Overseas Pakistani's also.
