BBC's Stephen Sackur Dismantles Pakistani Opposition's Entire Narrative

Are you talking about parliamentary majority, or public majority? Because when it comes to the public, I don't think they are in the majority at all. In fact, recent events have probably made them even less popular.

Primarily the former, but without a substantial following, they wouldn't have the traction they currently have.

In terms of measures to take, the track record of not just governance performance, but the vile, selfish character and zero utility of the PDM parties is visible to any rational person. Calling them anti-national is justified IMO. If true change is desired in terms of making it untenable for such political players to emerge again, then something permanent needs to be done.

Dar had nothing to counter that with, because it's literally a fact that NS is a convicted criminal. It's also a literal fact that EU observers called the election results credible.

There was nothing Dar could say, without looking like a complete fool.
And then this party touts its horns about “Syasi Tajarba” and “experience” so much. What kind of experienced politician would go to BBC under these circumstances? In their mind they thought that western media would embrace them with open arms after cursing Pakistan Army - they are still stuck in 90s era, but time and world has moved on now.

I can agree with that.
