Whole of China has favourable view of India over Pakistan
Whole of India have a favourable view of China over Pakistan.

But on some random internet forum, with 4-6 full time Chinese posters, they think its all false and the rating is dumb. hehe

Thanks for the link.
Thats really interesting.... definitely the sample space didn't include the internet warriors we have our here in this forum then.

I don't know, the Indian members here seem pretty representative of the negative attitude that India has towards China and Pakistan.

So instead of saying "internet warriors", maybe a more correct term would be "internet users". :azn:

Like some one said before, if Chinese pay attention to the relationship between the three nations that would change. I guess similar to Indian people they dont think about politics as much.

China's policy makers understand the situation better than the lay citizen. Chinese recreation rarely include politics, you'd get stronger feelings about whether horde is better than human on WoW, or which K-pop drama is better than opinions of countries.

Actually I agreed with much of it, if you read my posts. :P

Especially the part where China is quite balanced towards India, but India is overwhelmingly hostile to China.

Chinese people in general don't really care about politics.

I think you are right. May be because we Indians do not want to forget the defeat in 62.

I think it's just the media and their sensationalist headlines. Most Indians generally have very little knowledge about wars. Well at least the ones my age...

You can laugh all you want, but public opinion is extremely important regarding national relations.
Especially regarding such a sensitive disputed border region, as the Sino-Indian border.
Hey c'mmon now you are jealous of my laughter. My doctor said it is good for my health and age :D

If public opinion mattered, you would have already seen a war then. You are misunderstanding between the media opinion and public opinion. Until you see a street protest against China, you shouldn't be worried. We have a lot of other things in this country to worry about. Threat from China would come somewhere down in the list.

If don't want to forget the lessons of 62, you might want to start with an accurate version of what happened.

I think Pakistan is still the common Indian's biggest worry...

On second thought I think it's the Cricket World Cup.

I was referring to those who are vehemently opposing the Americans here on this forum. I think warriors is an apt terminology.

I dont even think most Indians even know about 1962 war let alone how many times India and Pakistan had went to war. I had no clue that India and China went to war at first, and my uncles and dad didnt either..

I came in so naive thinking India and China can be allies. And I bet many Indians in the forum had the same feeling at first. Thinking two ancient civilizations that are making a come back can co-operate and what not..
