GDP is calculated in Bangladesh in same way like any other countries.

Do you think consumption in Bangladesh could be anywhere near India? You can take any metric. Vehicles? Mobiles? Electronics? Household consumption? Housing? Electricity? Petrol? Anything.

Except for personal automobile, other consumption patterns in India and Bangladesh are not that dissimilar. Personal automobile in Bangladesh prohibitively expensive and out of reach for middle class people.

I think household electricity consumption also would not be much different, big difference would be in industry. India's big metal mining and heavy industries require a lot of electricity while Bangladesh's largest industry ready made Garments require little electricity. Petrol consumption is mostly related to vehicle numbers.

Bangladeshis save and invest a greater portion of their income compared to Indians. This is one of the reason, national investment to GDP ratio in Bangladesh rose much faster in the last 3 decades. It was only about 15 percent in 1990, now at 33 percent and it is mostly private domestic investment as FDI in Bangladesh still very low.

I also showed you the same link of IMF for 2019. Year 2021 is yet to finish, so it is little incorrect to show data for it. It is IMF prediction, not actual. Even if we stick to 2021 data, you are still off mark. With current exchange rate India's 2021 govt. expenditure would be $898 billion(not $940b) and for Bangladesh it would be $55 billion(not $50b). So the ratio is again 16:1 which have shown in previous post.

Tax collection in Bangladesh is also growing, but not enough to increase the tax:GDP ratio in a short time. It just keeping pace with GDP growth rate. Otherwise you would have seen Tax:GDP ratio declining

It isn't- it's declining. I have already posted about how tax to GDP ratio already decreased to 8.9% from 9.4% in 2018-19 long before the pandemic.
