Bangladeshis are taking Indians' Jobs : Bengaluru MP Tejasvi Surya

2. The region on the other bank of the Jamuna in the division of Rangpur, where is situation is complicated by water scarcity as one goes further north west.
Rangpur division poverty rate is much higher than national average, but people from there mostly migrate to Dhaka for jobs. A large percentage of Garments workers and Rickshaw puller in Dhaka hails from that division. Plus Rangpur city also provide many labor intensive jobs. And contrary to your opinion, Rangpur's water problem is not as severe as you are imagining, it is the most agriculturally productive division in Bangladesh. It is true, lack of Teesta water causing some problem. But that is not a big spoiler. Otherwise it could not grow so many crops. If Teesta water found adequately, it could emerge even a bigger producer, that's it.
3. The inhabitants of the enclaves/chitmahals along the border with Assam and WB who have been essentially abandoned by your State and the are dependent on India for their livelihood. In all fairness, this is a nasty byproduct of the ill-conceived partition.
Enclave problem has been solved. It is only about 37 thousands people. now those enclave enjoying a rapid development activities.
4. Hill tribes in your CHT who are persecuted against and live in impoverished conditions
There are only few lakhs of them in BD. Previously they gone to Mizoram, Tripura, Arunachal in India and Myanmar. But such incidence now very low. It is laughable that you are identifying it to be a big problem for Assam. Although their main destination was never Assam.

However, our @Atlas thinks @Riyad to be a Bangladeshi 5th column. I believe he is an Indian Ghatia from west Bengal.
He could be! I don't completely disagree with your doubt. But I think he is fifth columnist, only because I know bivishons/uncle Toms are worse enemy than their master. I consider himself more poisonous snake than a false flagger.

Char dwelling population in Mymensingh division has no reason to go to Assam. They have better destination within Bangladesh to migrate. Look at Mymensingh city. Judging by skyline,
Friend, these skylines don't positively affect the lives of the dwellers of the Sar-Saporis of our regions. Chars comprise one-fifth of Assam, the inhabitants there won't find gainful employment in cities like Guwahati. Those who can have migrated to your cities, but everyone cannot be accomodated.
But an north east Indian?
Make a poll here amongst your countrymen and you'll find that none of them have ever visited those places. Spent a whole year serving them in my formative years at a place where your BDR opened indiscriminate fire on our settlements. Treated your patients who had to cross over to Dhubri as there were no facilities in your side. Had many a great moments with the locals crossing over to your side and partying on the Chars till sundown, friendly people, learnt Bengali culture there.

Riverine boundary between Mymensingh and Assam were lightly patrolled back then, people could come and go as they wished. I don't the ground situation there now as i haven't been there for a long time.

Back in the 2000s you simply didn't have the means to develop those places. But you do now, so instead of your chest thumping start improving their lives. Build them roads, schools and hospitals if you haven't already.

And next time don't show us your Mymensingh skyline, show us pictures of the places i mentioned.

Enclave problem has been solved. It is only about 37 thousands people. now those enclave enjoying a rapid development activities.
Enclave problem has been solved owing to the urgency of our central government but that does mean that their condition has improved overnight. And do you deny that people of those enclaves haven't crossed over to India seeing that their own country is doing nothing for them?

It is laughable that you are identifying it to be a big problem for Assam.
Show me when did i say that? Problems for Indians of certain states for sure but not for Assam. Anyway, my post was for BD infiltration to India, not Assam.

More likely a hindutva traitor. We may find it difficult to accept, but there are some Hindus in Bangladesh who believe in Akhand Bharat ideology. This scum is one of them.
These local Hindus are over-dreaming. When we do not even entertain the thought of Akhand Bengal, they dream of Akhand Bharat!! Too much of Yaba inhalation and an utter case of hallucination, perhaps!!

.
India is not that ideal and rich enough, compared to Bangladesh your situation is not much different, your pictures is too rosy.
indonesia juga mirip2 india -banglades sama2 pengekspor babu ke malaysia-singapura -timur tengah
sok banget lu ikut campur ikut urusan negara orang...kayak lu berasal dari negara kaya aja lah wong sama kere nya kok kayak india

Here is an interesting bit of info @Nilgiri, about Dhubri district that @Homo Sapiens called the most backward district in Assam. Out of the total 80 pc of Muslim population of the district more than three-fourths are Mymensinghias. In Barpeta district across the river they are 50 pc of the population. Wonder why they had to come to the poor Assam instead of their mega rich cities..

They form the vote bank of AIUDF, a party formed to cater to the BD voters. Their leader don't have to try much to garner their support, scare mongering on religious grounds work well.

Hey man, I'm sure there will be colour intensity maps of Assam districts released soon after July 31st. We can all see what the most affected areas are by the termites. Certainly the location of temporary camps that are created (as you know is being talked by state BJP and centre BJP right now as how best to organise and proceed with priority cases) will also illustrate the hot spots too.

Since you will not be inclined to go through hundreds of pages of data in the Human Development Report, Assam, i am affixing a news link for your quick perusal.

(Pasting the relevant parts, you can go through it in entirety if you so wish)

Zahirul Islam is widely-respected and is an indigenous Muslim of the state (known as Ujani Muslim or Khilonjia Muslim). Badruddin Ajmal, on the other hand, is a Bhatia Muslim (as those of Bangladeshi-origin are called). While Ajmal, with his Islamic beard, long kurtas and short pyjamas, represents the conservative face of Islam, Zaved Islam is seen as a liberal, like his father.

Dhubri, the western-most district of Assam that borders Bangladesh to its south-west, is an overwhelmingly Muslim-majority district. At the turn of the last century, Dhubri was a Hindu-majority area...

Thus, the region’s demography started changing. According to old records, 80 per cent of the population in Dhubri town were Hindus in the early 1920s. By 1951, 40 per cent of the town’s population were Muslims and 60 per cent of the population of the area that forms the present-day Dhubri district were Muslims. As per the 2011 census, Muslims form 80 per cent of the population of the district.

The British policy of settling landless Muslim peasants from East Bengal (mainly from Rangpur and Mymensingh) in Dhubri triggered mass exodus of more land-hungry and impoverished Muslims into Assam, especially the lower Assam districts bordering Bangladesh. And thus, the demography of Dhubri changed permanently.

This entry of Muslims into Assam continued even after Independence with successive Congress regimes in the state encouraging this illegal influx for the purpose of creating vote banks. These infiltrators were provided political patronage and given citizenship documents and land pattas. In return, they voted for the Congress and kept that party in power for a long time.

Profile Of The Electorate

Of the 18,40,044 voters of Dhubri Lok Sabha constituency, 77 per cent are Muslims. Of them, nearly 70 per cent are Bhatias (of relatively recent Bangladeshi origin) and the rest are Ujanis or Khilonjias (indigenous Muslims). The Khilonjias speak Assamese and Goalparia (the dialect of Goalpara which is a mix of Bengali, Rajbongshi and Assamese) while the Bhatias speak the Bengali dialect of the provinces in East Bengal (present-day Bangladesh) where they hailed from.

What kind of moron calls Indian Muslims "termites" while living in Canada? The irony is obviously lost somehow.

Just what happened to you as a baby? Did you get dropped on your head and never been right since?

Big deal as the movement was during UK time. India as a country accepted all persons within it's boundaries when it became independent in 1947.

They are not Indian muslims. They are illegal bangladeshis. Please try keep up.

Solid PROOF please.

It is clearly mentioned that immigration after independence from Mymensingh aided and abetted by Congress is responsible for the doubling of Muslim population in Dhubri since 1951.
