I will have to disagree with you here.
10% a year increase will require just over 7 years to double. 1.1^7 = 1.95
I am making an assumption that all the electrictity from these plants can get to where it is needed and this may not be the case due to the BD electricity grid setup.
Current BD demand is 10GW. Adding up the 7.1GW from these two gas plants + Roopur nuclear(2.4GW), Payra Coal(1.32GW) and Matarbari Coal(1.2GW) makes it a total of 12.02GW. I am not evening taking into account other smaller projects and so if the electricity grid of BD is able to supply power to where it is needed by 2024, BD may actually produce a little bit more than it needs.
