Bangladesh Students Protest l Updates, News & Discussion

Pakistan should Call back its diplomatic staff as BD plunges in lawlessness and chaos
However, it will only help the BAL of Hasina. She will finger point at Pakistan and will claim Pakistan is supporting the anti-independence groups. She is very naughty. I wonder which one is worse, Hasina or Mamata of west Bengal?

Bangladesh has already accused Pakistan many Times this year alone.

With Security conditions worsening. Pakistanis should avoid that region at all costs

Spot on, you hit the nail in the head. I do hope we see young political leadership at the national level soon.
Flushing the Khaleda, Moudud gang out of BNP would be a good start so that we have a credible opposition.

Listen moron, the schmuck in power is your BAL and its BCL thugs! Your tricks won't work.

Listen partisan hack, your beloved Khaleda is as irrelevant as "T-Rex".

The young generation has had enough of Khaledas and Hasinas.

Whichever party manages to court young energetic leadership will sweep elections.

Keep weeping for Khaleda till oblivion.

Only rumor it seems. Apparently a former BNP minister has instructed his followers to get into this protest and be active on facebook. It seems to be their doing.

BCL scums needs a good beating.

Awami League won't always be in power. They will fall...be it 10 years or 20. When they do fall BCL scums will be the ones to get hit the hardest. Its a norm in BD. After a govt changes half of their student wing leadership disappears and never found again. Rest go into hiding.

Maybe not. In the past BNP/ AL rotated every 5 years.

If AL stays in power for another 10 years, BD will become a totally different country than back in 2009.

Good. BAL should make good hay while the sun shines.

Those BCL bast**s will change side if new govt comes to power. And beside those mofos i wish every AL scums will get their portion of punishment. Specially Sahajahan, Qader, Nahid, Joy and Hasina. After what happened today in Zigatola i have no anger on those trolls in this forum like Nilgiri, Sakra, Imran , El Sidd and others. This country is actually fucked up, rotten to core. Anybody who escapes to western world is safer than us. At least two spot dead (saw the photo, can't share here), 4 presumed raped (saw one brother crying for his sister), several seriously injured. Still people got killed in road accident in Mogbazar, Badda. I wish India or Pakistan nuke the whole country to stone age. This country has no future if a new party full of educated, strong and young people with vision don't come to power.

Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) activists allegedly attacked students while they were managing traffic at Jigatala intersection in the capital on Saturday.

A group of 30-35 BCL men equipped with sticks swooped on the students in front of the BGB Jigatala gate around 2:00pm, leaving some of them injured.

They retreated when the students chased them with sticks and whatever they got around them, according to UNB.

However, the BCL activists regrouped and attacked the protesting students again around 3:30pm, leaving a number of the students injured.

Later, chases and counter-chases took place between the two groups.

Finally, members of Border Guard Bangladesh came out of adjacent Pilkhana headquarters and brought the situation under control.

The agitated students also vandalised a police box in Science Lab area during the melee.

In Mirpur-2, around 50 youths, believed to be BCL men, swooped on the protesting students with sticks at 12 noon.

The attackers chased the students towards Mirpur-10 upto Mirpur-2 Shopping Complex
