I'm sure I mentioned "auto policy" and "localization" on this forum more times than all of the Gov't of Pak's meeting minutes since 1999. 100% guaranteed. This was inevitable. Pakistan has refused to reform and prepare itself and its people for the future.
Like in Egypt, the Pakistani military and feudal groups have major control of the economy, preventing it from growing.
In the next 5-10 years, countries like Bangladesh and Nigeria will significantly increase the gap between them and Pakistan in terms of economic productivity and prosperity.
This is the price for inaction.
I'll be optimistic and say, if we could totally flip how Pakistan's governed, we can catch-up in no time. Obviously, the problem is our governing structure, and the idea of it changing is gargantuan, but to be positive, if we can climb that mountain, we'll win.
