Bangladesh set to outpace Pakistan’s auto sector

learn what? surrender to our enemies? surrender to india? give up our islamic identity? not fight for those that consider themselves pakistani, such as kashmiris? not spend on our military and have an airforce that even bangladeshis say is pathetic? anyone can grow and become rich while living like cowards.

Pakistan has the mentality of Khalid ibn al-Walid : "If you were in the clouds, Allah would raise us to you or lower you to us for battle." and we dont care about your numbers or ours, Khalid ibn al-Walid: "Do not say how few are the Muslims and how numerous are the Romans. Say how few are the Romans and how numerous are the Muslims! 'An army's strength lies not in numbers of men but in Allah's help, and its weakness lies in being forsaken by Allah."

by the way, since india and indians are soooo wise and are geographically (and with a population size) a lot bigger than pakistan and bangladesh, is india a super power yet? is india's economy around the size of China or USA? do india make most of the military hardware they use?

india has a bigger economy than China and america combined. india has also made more inventions than both Europe, america and the Far East combined.

Suzuki(called Pak Suzuki), Honda(Atlas Honda here), Toyota(Indus Motors) do have local production with a deletion(local components) of about 60-70 % and quite a big auto vendor industry. Many Pakistan people are unaware of this local auto vendor industry.

And now there are dozens of new players with Hyndai, Kia, started production. Also many Chinese variants as well.

Should expand in EV cars with Chinese companies. Although should be careful and select on brands like geely

Did Pakistan have any auto sector in first place ? We now have started developing this sector and Bangladesh if I am not wrong already had somewhat developed sector so its normal for em to "outpace" us..
BD for now is not far ahead in this sector. An assembling plant was built named Gandhara Industries in Chittagong in 1966 (?) when Ayub Khan was the President of Pakistan. This is the only one and the name has been changed to Progoti Industries. However, there are many workshops that assemble bodies of buses and trucks.

So, till now, it is not enough. But, the GoB is contemplating establishing an assembling factory in a joint venture between a local company and Mitsubishi Motors of Japan whereby the latter will supply the parts and the former will assemble them in a new plant to be built.

Assembling is certainly the initial stage after which many of the parts (both body and mechanical parts) are supposed to be manufactured inside the country. This will result in the industrialization of the country.

Arrogance is very unseemly, especially when your per capita income is 35 % less than that of Bangladesh's.
And spare me the Muslim lectures . You guys and your leaders discarded the Muslim Uighurs like trash for a little bit of investment from china. Hypocrisy at its best
Never seen Bangladesh using the religion card for getting loans and aid from all over the world, unlike Pakistan. So who has self respect ?
Bangladesh is doing well through pure trade. And no need to involve India as they have a negative balance with India. Its 3rd countries BD is doing well against.

we havent discarded the uighurs. we dont know for certain what is going on there when there is propaganda coming from all sides. as for GDP per capita, so what about it? when do we use religion to get loans? as for comparing Pakistan to Bangladesh, maybe you should take a step back and look at the title of the thread and look at your earlier post to see who started bringing up Bangladesh. yeah, thats right mofo.

sure, if we didnt involved in conflicts our economy could do a lot better, same can be said for India.

teri gaand kyu jali? read the title of the thread next time, and dont bring up Bangladesh comparison first and then cry when someone else talks about Bangladesh.

I will take Bangladesh seriously when Bangladesh starts building BEV cars of it's own brand, the West is going fully electric and Bangladesh can't miss out. It desperately needs to industrialize quick cause it can't miss the EV revolution. Toyota is still sleeping but I bet they will come up with something great , in the meantime Tesla leads with it's self driving features and VM comes in second. China and Korea are also working on their BEVs with China showing pretty good levels of tech.

Bangladesh is once again falling decades behind everyone , start working on BEV tech now and innovate which will benefit Bangladesh in the future.

We can't be making clothes forever
