Bangladesh already does that. Lifting the ban brings Israel to the same status as Taiwan. Bangladesh trades with Taiwan gives them on arrival visas but does not recognize it as a country.

But practically as days are passing I have reached to a conclusion about Bangladeshi people and that is ,"সেথা যাও সুনিশ্চিত সেথা সব বাঙ্গাল, মুখ ও মুখোশ একাকার মনুষ্যরুপী কংকাল।"! So yes ,even if Bangladesh govt will recognise Israel, then the 170 millions of Bangladeshi skeletons ( who look like human beings) won't do anything but creating tempest in Facebook.

So yes technically Bangladesh can recognise Israel right now , because no real threat from 170 million human looking skeletons.

And these skeletons will protect motherland from enemy aggression without the help of military, joke of the century.

Now it's time we should stop the delusion of brave Bengali, rather we can declare ourselves as coward bangali and skeletons who can't can't anything revolutionary other than just creating storm in Facebook.

My humble question is to our authority, if Bangladesh can recognise Israel now , then what actually stopped them to recognise them when they recognised us after independence?

No, Taiwan is not Israel. Bangladesh consider Taiwan as per 'One China policy' as a breakway province of China. It has no legitimacy issue as an entity, so Bangladesh is maintaining trade relation without recognizing it as a separate, independent country. Which is not the case with Israel. In Bangladesh's official position, Israel is an illegal, usurping entity which will only gain legitimacy if an independent Palestinian state is establish in satisfaction of the Palestinians. Bangladesh FM already made clear that Bangladesh will not recognize Isreal as a country, so no diplomatic relation, no Visa, no visit to Israel. Visitation of any country is related to VISA policy, not with Passport. Passport is a national identity document.

Removal of an Israel ban is clearly the first step in a move towards recognition. Bangladesh probably won't recognize Israel straight away now that Trump is gone but clearly seems to be heading in that direction.
