What a very tiny Israel can do to assist a poor country like BD I do not understand. It is too tiny and far away from us. Japan, China, and other developed countries are more in a position to help us with industrialization.Bangladesh is one of the few Muslim majority countries which are blessed with a strong government. The people are respectful of the government decision and policy and see events beyond Greater Bengal as inconsequential.
A beneficial relation with Israel is as much on the cards as opening the country up for eventual graduation from the LDC status. Boasting the most progressive economy in the region, the lucrative soft power boost is where Israel can play her part.
There is no forecast of any monsoon in Bangladesh.
BD should wait for the day Israel establishes peace with Palestinians. We are psychologically attached to Palestine as if it is a part of us. I think almost all people have similar feelings and the govt is unable to supersede this popular sentiment. Even if SA has discarded Palestinians, a tiny BD should not.
Dhaka will burn if GoB does something stupid without getting people's approval.
