Pakistan is doing great in military with 40 billion dollar budget.We can follow them.

The difference is that they're not doing any good in human development parameters after spending some 18% of their budget in defense. And their conventional firepower doesn't compare well with that of India. So emulating Pakistan is not going to do any good for you

For nuclear part, we may seek Chinese nuclear umbrella in exchange for other things.Plus I believe Indian nuclear weapon is not for use in conventional war and India have declared policy not to use first.So any hypothetical war between India and BD will not involve nuclear weapon.

No one is talking about a nuclear war. I asked whether 'Bangladesh matching up with India in military capabilities' is another claim like 'Bangladesh can develop nuclear weapons within 5 years'. I've seen several other funny claims made by PDF Bangladeshis.

They are not too much behind either in development.I think Bangladesh can follow Singapore in this regards.Singapore maintain a strong military and high defence budget but also prudent economic policy and rapid growth.

Most 3rd world countries without large natural resources have large budget deficits.
Not a big deal as overseas remittances plug the gap easily.

Low revenue comes from low GDP.

Their low revenues is actually not a bad thing if their spending is balanced and efficient (which it isn't unfortunately as you have illustrated by the deficit % but thats another matter).....since lower govt consumption is a good thing for an economy in todays world.

I am not talking Singapore of today but Singapore of 1970s and 1980s when they were a developing country like Bangladesh.During that period they both excelled in military and economic development.

They are a city state (urbanisation rate of near to 100% even back then) and they had significantly better human capital than you even today (back then too) with a really efficient forward thinking and pro-capitalism govt.

We most certainly can if needed. You think we didn't invest in these nukes for nothing.... and not have full deterrence against the more potent adversaries?

Don't push us to such an extent and we won't need to show you your place.

fine. But long way to go to start emulating even. Too much corruption, no lee-kuan yew like person (with possible exception of Yunus but he needs to be empowered politically)....terrible education and human capital quality overall and very low urbanisation.

You need to get to at least 50% urbanisation rate, have complete literacy (and much improved quality) and have a clear competent leader and bureaucracy to stand a chance to start emulating Singapore.

Pakistan will reclaim Jammu & Kashmir,Punjab,Delhi,Junagarh,Rajsthan and what not
China will march South Tibet,Dharmashala,Dalailama house,Sikkim,Uttarakhand

And don't talk about nuke, when your adversary like China,Pakistan also have them.

But even less populated countries like Denmark and Finland get even more revenues.
I guess it's due to excellent taxation where they get most of their revenues ?

All we got to do is tell them if they take one step on Indian soil, their cities get turned into glass (through the relevant back channels before we start the operation against Bangladesh). They are not going to risk that over an LDC swamp we have surrounded on all sides.
