My Dear @Loki :D

No Matter what the the PDF BDians say, but i have a feeling that AL is getting back to the power (just a feeling, no proof, we can talk over it after elections are over).

& as far as the so called "Report" is concerned, I have NEVER, NEVER heard of RAW giving even a PRESS RELEASE forget a complete report.

RAW is answerable to no one (not even the Parliament) but the PM in India, it is an agency which likes to do the job from behind the scenes.

It has NEVER come up with an OFFICIAL version of any of it's operation.

I guess, the report is just an imagination of the author, but even than if you can show me that report & prove it has been released by RAW, i am ready to change my opinion.

May god bless her excellency honourable Ms Sheikh Hasina. What a visionary leader she is, I am jealous of Bangladesh. Awami League will undoubtably come to power in next elections :coffee:. Funds have already been released for the election campaign.

That author is an ignorant idiot to think BAL would cash in on its entente with Shahbagis! Or perhaps Awamis have been smart enough to have fooled their masters too??

I have a feeling that AL may return to power to. Though, no party has won elections in two consecutive times in BD history.

If we look at the faculty list, many of them are ex-officers of the Indian armed forces. Some are diplomats. So they may have some connections.

I don't think such information are sensitive as such.

Kono patry-r head apni?

No, I was just kidding.

It may have also pushed the AL to close discussion on CTG -

Door to discussion is shut: PM

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has said the BNP itself closed all options for discussion on a caretaker government when it withdrew the adjournment motion in Parliament.

Hasina also alleged the opposition party deceived the people by taking back the motion – one that draws the attention of the House to a matter of urgent public importance.

“There is no scope for discussion. They have blocked the opportunity,” Hasina told a programme marking the historic Six-Point Demand Day at the Bangabandhu International Conference Centre on Friday.

The BNP withdrew the motion for revival of the caretaker system on Monday when the 18th session of ninth Parliament kicked off. Noakhali-1 MP AM Mahbub Uddin Khokon had put forward the motion before the Parliament Secretariat on May 22.

The motion submitted as per Section 62 of the Rules of Procedures of Parliament said the caretaker government system should be restored for the sake of a free and fair election.

Hasina on Friday said: ”The Leader of the Opposition (Khaleda Zia) issued a 48-hour ultimatum when we talked about talks.”

”She then said we (the government) will not find any way to escape. I’d like to ask her a question….Who will have to find that way now?”

Hasina alleged the proposal placed at the House was not even an ‘adjournment motion’ as per law.

“Still we decided in the working committee meeting to pass the duty on to the Speaker to include it (the motion) in the rule of procedure,” she said. “We were ready for discussion.”

”But the BNP withdrew the motion when we took that decision. What do they want?” Hasina asked.

The Prime Minister further alleged the opposition lawmakers joined the budget session only to secure their membership.

”I wish they will stay and talk anything they want having joined the budget discussion,” she added at the programme.

The Awami League and its associated orgianisations on Friday organised several programmes to mark the day.

On this day in 1966, the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman launched a massive movement against the misrule of the West Pakistanis on the basis of the Six-Point Demand, also known as the Magna Carta of the Bangalees. It demanded autonomy for the then East Pakistan.

Ten people, including Manu Mian, Shafique and Shamsul Haque, were gunned down by police and paramilitary EPR in Dhaka and Narayanganj during a shutdown, called for the release of Bangabandhu and other leaders detained for launching the Six-Point Movement.

Hasina paid tributes to Sheikh Mujibur Rahman by placing wreaths at his portrait in front of Bangabandhu Memorial Museum at Dhanmondi in the morning.

90% people of Bangladesh want neutral caretaker administration for election. Against that popular demand Awami League using its gun power and state machinery advancing to hold a farcical election under its own rule. And that farcical election will bring out even more brutal and genocidal regime which most likely would not survive.
