Germany of 2050 is no longer gonna be the Germany of today's. It's population is going to decline to 50 million from present 80 million with bulk of population will be 65+. If Bangladesh ever cross the GDP of big European countries by 2065 that will be Germany first then France or UK. Though right now it has the biggest economy.

You are doing a lot of guess work.Europe will reinvent itself again.A strong Eurozone with fiscal and monetary union will emerge.They will come up with new technologies that can cure their demographic woes.Ever wonder why Japan is ahead in Robotics than the rest of the world??

Again irrelevant post... None of those are my prediction but the prediction of world's renowned economist's and banks. If you disagree with their finding then write a letter to them protesting their finding.

But it is you who is thinking of making big money in Bangladesh saying it is a virgin market and has immense potential and in the mean time speaking against it.

In the whole article it has no where mentioned about it will happen for Awami league or any other political party when we are not even sure whether BNP and BAL will be there in 10 year time or not.

If anyone is doing dalali of any party it is you, other Jamatis, rajakars and other anti state element those who just want to show Bangladesh in bad light whichever party remain in power.

Let alone 2050 Indonesia will have a bigger economy then Japan by 2030. Technology and other progress we are not discussing it here. For sure Europe will have a higher per capita GDP but may not be in total GDP wise.

Here it has been talked about having a stable economy and enjoying certain standard of living. With 220-270 million people by 2050 it won't be impossible to have a big economy then many western countries. The way bd is feeding it's population now. India should be more concerned about it as 42% of its child are malnourished and one third of its people goes to bed hungry despite India is a big exporter of food. This is such a shame but not necessarily the same case with Bangladesh.

There were many such predictions about Latin America and Japan overtaking US back in 80s,Latest predictions were about SE Nations.But,None of this happened.They are all based on a lot of Ifs and Buts.Only countries that have lived up to its predictions are S Korea,Taiwan (May be China,but they still have a long way to go).These two were true miracle and such ones are called break out nations, and they are very very rare.
