Yup, it doesn't get better than Pakistan when it's about Mughal cuisine.
Nihari, Haleem, Pulao, Biryani, you name it we have it.

Btw, Dhaka seems to be very clean, would love to visit once.

Why Thanks

Dhaka's cleanliness these days is becoming more and more doubtful because of the weight of entire Bangladesh' population descending on it. But during holidays one is reminded of how great a city this one is with two thirds of the inhabitants (and tens of thousands of slum dwellers) absent.

The trend in Dhaka these days is for young entrepreneurs to open lounge cafes, hangout places of course with snacks and drinks but to provide places where mainly young educated tech people can mingle and incubate ideas on tech startups.

Holey Artisan Bakery - I'd say one of _the_ best places to practice true art of baking in South Asia.

Sticky buns made with Brioche dough, and stuffed with loads of cinnamon, home made butterscotch, toasted walnuts, and fresh dairy butter.

Almond Croissants made with flaky dough, filled with homemade almond frangipani filling

Butterscotch Brioche donut with homemade Caramel filling and frosting

Apple Chausson. Home made butter puff pastry filled with "Dutch Style" apple filling, which includes cinnamon, cloves, raisins, and a touch of lime.

Bengal vegetarian spicy bite. Simmered chick peas with roasted Indian spices and a touch of potato, and just a hint of heat, all wrapped in butter puff pastry

Creme brûlée made with double cream, a hint of vanilla, cinnamon and lime zest, and a crackling sugar caramel crust made with a plumbers blow torch
