What's new

Ban on Kurdish letters to be lifted with democracy package

well safavids are kurdish roots.
anyway i am not saying there was not autonomy. and that Iran and Iranians are the same nation , the same roots for almost all of them, with slighty differences for regions.
what is important is everyone is respected.
of course we cannot accept one region separatism.

it was a short period of state. a very long time ago.

you know...
in France they have bretagne, celtic people, they were French just a few centuries ago . They enjoy to keep their culture but they never ask for separatism.
i still believe the ones who ask for separatism are violent and untolerant people. Like the ones who don't care about the specific culture of kurds.

Kurds have nothing to do with the Safavid empire. The court language of the Safavid empire was Azerbaijani Turkish until Isfahan became the capital. The rulers and the military (Qizilbash) of the Safavid empire were all mostly Turks

Iran must protect its national security especially when we are surrounded by many enemies in hard times. Like I said Kurds are always welcome in Iran, they are Iranic and have many things in common with us. I say all Iranic peoples without nations of there own should come in Iran this includes Kurds, Ossetians, and Baloch. They should stop fighting over there nationalistic dreams that they will somehow be rewarded with their own independent country it will never happen especially in this day and age. There will be no sovereign country such as Kurdistan or Ossetia, the Iranic peoples should unite together in there homeland of Iran and former stronger bonds and together we can create a more powerful Iran and let fear run through our enemies.

I would support an independent Kurdistan in Turkey, Iraqi and Syria. The difference between the Kurdish people in those countries and Iran is that in those former countries, Kurds are living together with non-Iranian people (Arabs and Turks), while in Iran the cultural similarities are much more prominent.

Therefore, Iran should promote greater Kurdish autonomy/independence in Turkey. Turkey doesn't belong to Turks; Turks belong to Central-Asia, although Central-Asia wasn't Turkish too from the ages of times. Kurds were living in those areas 2000 years before the Turks left their tents.

you are right but i am not wrong.
Iranian Kurdistan - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
According to the Encyclopaedia of Islam, the Safavid family came from Iranian Kurdistan, and later moved to Azarbaijan.
well i am not specialist of history anyway.

Turkey belongs to Turks we fought for this country, the red color in our flag represents our martyrs blood, and we are ready to sacrifice more if needed!

Brits, French and Italians know what i mean.

You guys only fought for you own gains, since the original population of Turkey (Armenians, Greeks and Kurds) were massacred by Ottoman Turkish forces. The country Turkey belongs to these people. The coasts of Marmara, Izmir, Trabzon, and the mountains of East Turkey are not the land of Turks.

Simple as that. Constantinople (Istanbul) is a Roman/Greek city.

It was old times @Surenas
Now we should respect the countries as they are. No frontier dispute, no separatism, and we live in peace.
People should find way to live in peace and have all same citizen rights and duties.

UNO said : this country with that limits . we should respect it. point.

Evrytime the same BS, greeks colonised asia minor, see trojan war.

Greeks conquered these lands, just like we conquered it from greeks simple as that.

And Treaty of Lausanne which defines the borders of Turkey is a result of Turkish victory in WWI.

The Trojans were predominately Greeks. Fact is that the Greeks were populating the Western side of Turkey, while Armenians and Kurds were populating the Eastern part of Turkey.

Turks are recent migrants. They destroyed and massacred the original population of Turkey and established a fake nationalist Turkish policy with fascist tendencies. Its funny when Kurds have to sing Turkish songs every school day, while they were living in these areas 2000 years before the world even know Turks.

Wow here is our "klaploper" again.

İf you're so caring for your brothers you can give them a part of your country. That would be awsome.
Show them your brotherhood, split İran and give them their own country. Big enough to maintain all kurds.
İf you're not willing to do that, İ highly suggest you stick your nose into your own matters.

Iran means 'the land of Iranians'. Kurds are Iranians. Persians and Kurds were brothers in ancient times and populated the Iranian Plateau at the same time. Unlike Turks, who do not belong in Anatolia.

Capiche?

WTF? Singing in school? Why do you fabricate fairytales? And if it was like your saying then theres no problem with it since Turkish is the official language in Turkey just like Persian in Iran any problem with it?

But i know what you are doing here, we call it ''acem oyunlari'' in Turkey.

Turkmens conquered Anatolia in the 10th century with the Seljuks and formed with the native population of Anatolia the modern Turks. We have losers and winners in the history and Anatolia was called Turchia by the Romans since the 12th century. It's very normal and you should just live with it.

True.
But the percentage of Kurdish Pan Iranists is low, they are mainly in for Kurdish nationalism.

If we could just ship these people from the plains to their mountains where they’re from.

Turks (Ottomans) already lost most of their lands a couple of centuries ago. Why do you think that you guys won't lose more land in the future?
