36503 (503) - MiG-29
36507 (507) - MiG-29
Remarks

* Not clear if it's 9-12 or 9-12B.

Between 2005 and 2007 political discussion about costs of maintaining the MiGs. Eventually they were grounded for a some time and even proposed for sale!

March 2010: a great plans of purchase fighter aircrafts, surface-to-air missile systems, helicopters, air-defense radars and armaments for Bangladesh Air Force, unveiled by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina during annual exercises WINTEX-2010 at the base at Kurmitola inside Dhaka Cantonment, watching flying display and intercepting operations.

So, Bangladesh will order a new MiGs-29 in SMT or M version, which will be delivered between 2011-2012.

In 2010 MiGs returned to service. There's informations about 14 active aircrafts.

Its true, But our defence budget was small compared to them. Anyway I'd be happy if this was true.

oh did not notice it, next time quote me ok ? ,
here is the answer: i am not that guy, anyway. we do not need to be expert . we all bd members know 2 Type053 frigate joining navy in this year+ USCGC also handed over to us, so now calculate how many frigates we are getting this year (2+1=3)? :omghaha:

do not embarrass yourself :lol: if you can not contribute in defence related issue , watch and ask others :tup:

Nice deceptive try. Question was why are you paddling bdmil initiated propaganda and in what capacity? Post news from credible source which has Bangladesh authority statement. Awami League has been good at confirming any purchase or induction. So if you have any of those confirmations post it. Otherwise, you are just acting like another bdmil propaganda paddler. News you posted about 23 mig 29 is just pure BS at the best. I challenge you to prove your speculation.

If you want to challenge really, challenge the site. aisey challenge janaitey :lol: without making personal you can not live. you really need to go to doctor

Hi...How are you? :D

I think Myanmar has 10 Mig 29 fighters (excluding trainers), not sure the later order of 2009 has reached them yet. In 2001, Myanmar Air Force bought 12 Mig-29 Fighter Aircraft (10 MiG-29Bs and two MiG-29UB two seats trainers) from Russia. This was followed by additional order of 20 Mig-29 (10 MiG-29B, 6 MiG-29SE and 4 MiG-29UB )as part of $570 Million defense package in December 2009. They are also planning for 24 SU-30 from Russia.

And Bangladesh seems to have 8 only (including trainers), 6 MiG-29SE, and 2 MiG-29UB :undecided: 16 single-seat MiG-29SE multi-role variants were ordered, however procurement was cancelled after 8 aircraft were delivered. can you provide any other credible source? But if any BD member gets angry reading this....then Bangladesh has 23! :kiss3:
