What im trying to say is we should have never let the Afgans come to Pakistan after the soviets left. From the beginning we should have docuemented them and kept them in the CAMPS or give them a workers program.

We should have a goal to deport 300,000 every year but let the ones with family's and hard workers stay the rest should go

I agree Munir. The old saying " you reap what you sow". After all, I remember back in the 80s TVs here were all talking about the " brave Jihadis" who were fighting the evil empire! So here we are in Afghanistan ( Part II). Back then Saddam was our buddy too!! The book " Wilson's war" is pretty interesting insight as to how the CIA works.

Hi,

Before the 80's there were no weapons in pakistan, in large scale as they are now.

Salaamullah Tipu was the first one to introduce the AK47 in the pakistani universities when a group of dissidents fired automatic weapons in the karachi university around the admin. building. They then went ahead and hijacked a PIA plane and since then the flood gates were open.

Now there is a big difference in mexicans coming to texas and find work and the afghans working in pakistan. The mexicans are doing the jobs that the americans will not do. Secondly, the U S of A is a rich nation. It can absorb the influx and the income earned also creates a robust economy. And most of the mexicans are thankful for this oppurtunity.

Pakistan being a poor nation cannot survive under similiar circumstances-----the jobs of the poor pakistanis have been taken over by the afghanis who work for less. These poor pakistanis have no better skills so there is no where else to go for them but to go down. Secondly, the afghanis have abundant weaponery, they are battle hardened----living and selling drugs and thriving on drug and gun selling money, these people are a breed like no other. They have no soul. They truly are the people of stone age mentality and living in a stone age technology. The only things they cherish are the intstruments that can cause death upon the other. Their personal grudges and differences supercede the teachings of islam.

The only people that come close to them are the columbian and mexican drug cartels.

Our forests in the northern areas have been destroyed, the poor areas of NWFP and balochistan have suffered heavily. How long are the baluchis going to suffer. Pakistan needs to start an organized push off-send off for the afghanis to their homeland. They should arrange for atleast 50000 thousand afghanis repatriated every three months and then step it upto 50000 or more deportations every month.

The afghanis have a home to build and that is their nation. Please leave our home now.

You know guys, in the state of california, in the riverside county, if you invite a relative to live in your house and you have not told them upfront when they would be leaving----you will have a very difficult time getting them out of your house legally.

Actually the scenario with us living in Balochistan and N.W.F.P is totally different and the rest i have seen the things here at Kabul, How much they are hostile for us in Afghanistan, But no one else will understand...
This is not the ideal scenario, With the help of huge balck money thay have taken over everything from the localities and there is also a social invasion going on.......Police take money from them like 10 to 20Rs and will set them free and things like that, If you ever visit TORKHAM border it no border at all you will feel that it is a normal road or a street poeple are crossing by and no check at all, Those khasadars will let anybody go from PAK to AFG by taking 50 to 100Rs What the heck is going on here?
There should be a proper data base of them, Govt should bring them into one place or keep a close check on them, i have seen personally many afghans they take money that is offered for repatriation and they visit once to spend summer and for winter they come back to Peshawar.
Where is GoP? and where are authorities to control traffic like this and these FATA areas should be removed they should be treated like the other areas of PAK, Because FATA and other tribal areas are causing a lot of toubles they call themselves Pakistanis and Afghanis at the very same time, there should be proper control of GoP in all these areas......

Hello guys,

An afghan colleague of mine came over to me at work and told me that if I knew that the afghanis have started a new tv channel in the U S that is constantly spewing poision against pakistan. My understanding from the conversation was that apart from afghani the other language used is english.

Also the Fox news had a very damning article about the involvement of Maulana Fazalur Rahman with the taliban, al qaeda and iraq. Trouble trouble trouble.

Afghanistan has always been overlooked as all the attention is on Iraq, the US is even retreating to make place for NATO.
Karzai is only in the chair because he has American support, but infact his powers are restricted to greater Kabul only. He's only got support of the NA but what about the rest of the country??

The country is in turmoil, its ever so instable, poor, depandant on foreign aid, lacks infrastructure, laborforce, resources etc and the pleadges made by donor to rebuild Afghanistan have to be cashed yet.

Once the search for OBL is over, Afghanistan will be left to rot and once again become our problem as the taleban will rise! We've seen this scenario before, it will happen again.

Pakistan should deploy more troops on western border and do better surveilliance, deport all afghanis and hit back at their false propaganda.
