Which I cannot give you because they are in last steps of negotiations and there are few things which need to be sorted out. Azerbaijan has been negotiating for a long time. Aesa is there this is confirm news. Either from Italy or China but it is there. If there is no Aesa Azerbaijan will not buy block 2 and will wait for block 3.

Sorry I cannot give you what you are looking for because it is still in negotiation over tech. Once it gets confirm I will update you.

The upgrade of aesa was decided for block 1/2 long time back. No company can make aesa in a single day it takes some years for aesa to put it into production.

Because non of their MIGs have night flight capabilities and they have been after jf-17 for long time. They waited this long for aesa.

I am not confirming block 2 I said negotiations at last stage and after that we will know what they buy but they are going to buy.

@pakistanipower jf-17 has many customers and the problem is their desired packages. It is modular design you can take out one tech and add another tech from your desired company. That is why MOU are being signed. Jf-17 will also get a European flag soon.

If they were going to buy block 3 why would they consider negotiating for aesa bolck 3 has klj7a already which is very good. But I cannot say anything because it is not done but being negotiated and can go in any direction either block 2 or 3

The more units made will help Pak recuperate the cost Pak spent on developing this aircraft with China, which Pak can then spend on Azm 5th gen fighter. Moreover if these customers like the performance of JF17...then they will be more likely to come back to place orders for Azm fighter jet

I believe Iran is not able to get this jet. Saudi will hijack this deal and indirectly provide fund to Egypt to buy over certain amount to prevent Iran getting it.

They are both welcome to buy as many as they like, we are open for business.
