Azerbaijan supports Saudi-led operation

Azarbaijan can do whatever the hell they bloody please. They just need to think ahead if they're willing to pay the price of their actions. When they were released from the soviet union everybody was giddy in Iran, thinking we've found a long lost brother. Little did we know they've been infected with this pan-racist disease, of a race that's not even their own. They started talking about breaking up Iran and engaging in aggressive diatribes against Iran and Iranians, before they could even walk. We know next what happened to these tough talking mighty warlord turkic warriors. So I don't have high expectations of rational and reasoned behavior from them. I just hope they've learned their lessons from the past and will think twice before giving in to idiocy.

Overall we live in a very backward and culturally retrograde region, where discarded 18th century European pan-racial ideologies are still all the rage. First it was the Turks with pan-turkism. Then Arabs learned from them. And now we are dealing with Pan-kurdish natioanlism.

All of them are garbage. All of them are based on myths and lies and built on victimizing others. These ideologies are not stable. They believe in a zero-sum outcome. They believe in getting ahead at the expense of others. So Arabs and Turks may cooperate today, but it won't last very long. They will be cutting each other's head off, the first chance they get.

As far as Iran goes, I'm afraid there's not much reasoning to be done with our lovely neighbors. It's still gonna be a very long time before the people of the region grow and mature. In the meantime, we just have to be strong enough to kick their teeth in, if they get too worked up, like they did when they attacked us before.

It is so interesting that you seem to overlook the Persian nationalism movement which was officially started by Shah Reza. Are you intentionally doing that? It is one of the long standing chauvinistic/race based political views in ME. And the people (I mean Persians) are taking it more seriously than many others, especially the westernized portion of them (which is pretty huge). You guys are never tired crying for 2000 years old glorious past. You can't wait for your Norowuz to come back again, and for the next jump on fire in Chahar-Shanbeh-Suri. You do that not because you love the holiday itself, but because it is one of very few holidays that you can comfortably describe as "pure Persian".

Your English is a pleasure to read, I am dead serious - like many of California Persians (or Persian Americans). You do know better than me what sort of chauvinistic views are being spoon fed to you guys from birth. The most Persian neo Nazis on Earth can be found among you Persian Americans. And your nationalism is mainly words, little poetry, ghormeh sabzi, and some rugs here and there. It was the Hezbollahi Arab - parasts that fought the war against the Tazis malakh-khor. Not you guys, the real Persians, I mean the Orange County's outdoor living heors. So please knock it off, and stop playing innocent.

I agree Persians can be quite full of themselves, but let's not equate Beverly Hillbillie Persians with Iranians in Iran or abroad. They are a special kind of arrogant. I don't like them either. Watching a snippet of 'Shahs of Sunset' makes me want to change my heritage. I think highly of the Iranians who sacrificed themselves during the Western war of aggression during 1980-1988.

Dude you're all over the place. What exactly is your problem? You hate Iranians because they celebrate their traditions, because you think they do it to piss Arabs off? Think about if for a second. Don't you think that's an extremely ignorant thing to say? I've been jumping over fire since I could run. And then all the neighbourhood kids would get together, pull our grandmothers' veils over our heads and go door to door banging our bowls with a spoon, asking for AAjeel or money. I always had a blast. Those are some of my fondest childhood memories. But thanks to you I now know it was all an attempt to get under the skin of some Arabs... lol. Get over yourself man!

I'm pretty sure you think Ahvazi people are Arabs. Here, have a look how these Arabs celebrate chaharshanbeh suri

And the same is true with Nowruz. It's our new year. We've always celebrated it on that day, since there is memory. And it happens to be a damn beautiful thing. I remember I always had a hard time studying for our second trimester exams on our roof, because of the smell of blossoms and new leaves around that time of the year in Shiraz. If that causes you offense, then you need to take a long look at yourself and ponder what is wrong with you. Because it certainly wouldn't be right to destroy something beautiful, natural and so harmless, to assuage the ignorance and insecurity of others.

But regardless of all that, What is wrong with celebrating our holidays? Do Iranians fault Arabs for following their own calendar? Do Iranians fault Arabs for celbrating their traditions? I don't get it!

Is this your evidence of the great Iranian chauvinism? That they celebrate their own holidays or they racist words in their language. Don't you use racist terms to refer to Iranians in Arabic? I don't even know what your deal is with Iranian-Amercians or a king who died 35 years ago. So I'll leave that alone.

Dude, the chauvinism and the intolerance is in you. You have a hard time accepting Iranians, not the other way around. Once you learn to live with and respect the others, we would start getting along...

Believe me it's a relief to hear we're irrelevant to you! And to put your mind at ease, I could give a fart about you and your ilk as well. But for somebody who doesn't care, you seem to have spent a lot of time gathering bullsh!t 'facts' to justify your ideology. All I'm saying is forego the bullsh!t and stick to the ideology. Because when you resort to bullsh!t facts, you open yourself to being considered stupid as well as crazy. Whereas I would always prefer to be crazy instead of stupid. Because as you may well know, crazy may be cured. But there ain't much that can be done for stupid...

well it seems like you are both crazy and stupid. Infact add a clown to the category describing you as well. if you think my facts are bullsh*t then argue against it, don't drag the exchange of views to personal tit for tat it shows your weak resolve and lack of conviction. Like i said i don't care about what Iran or persians do but it seems like the majority of the Iranian mob are hanging around yemen and KSA threads talking out of their a**, when they get checked they cry foul and either resort to persoanl attacks or want the member banned, a language of the weak minded with inferior confidence. stick to the topics and facts and get back to the topic so either put up or shut up,

What facts? That Iran wasn't Iran before? That Iranian Azaris hate other Iranians? That an Eritrean Salafist living in Australia will confidently try to teach us about our country and compatriots where we've grown up? Yep, those are bullsh!t facts.

And you lot tried your worst when we had our pants down, without a standing military. It turns out you can't even wipe your own a$$, let alone kick anybody else's.

keep trying....

Yes Iran wasn't Iran before, it was called persia and got smashed by the arabs and that was that. Now it's called Iran and compromise to area beyond it's natural ideiginous border beyond the zorgos mountains and is only 40% of the total population in another word a minority living among non persian majority.

Azari hate persians more than anyone else in Iran, you either are naive to think otherwise or you are insulting our mind here and take us for fools.

You label me as salafi just because your precious iran and your godly mullahs are under the spotlight, typical Persians cry foul like babies when confronted, like now as the arabs are giving your houthi slaves a belting in yemen. you can call me what you want as long as i can see you getting mad and resorting to name calling i know for sure you are getting hurt and bleeding inside. Like the propehet pbuh said your persian empire is broken and it will never be again. deal with it.

I advice you to educate yourself more about Iran before making broad statements. For example, I don't go talking much about African countries, because I know I lack information regarding the complexities of that region.

So, let me first talk to you about the country name. Iran was never called Persia in Iran. It was called by Persia by people from the west. This is not something strange or new. For example, Germans don't call their country Germany. They call it
Deutschland. We Iranians call it "Alman". Same for Japan & Nipon, and I'm sure there are many other examples. To come closer to our region, do Egyptians call their country Egpt or Mesr?

For Iran, it is the same way & always has been the same way. The country has always been Iran. This name was a catchall name to mean any land that belonged to Iranians (race did not matter, because race is a recent 18th European idea that has infected the region).

You then try to claim that Persians are a minority in Iran. This is has absolutely no relevance in Iran. It is not important, it is a non-issue, because our land, Iran, has never been a land of Persians, it has been a land of Iranians, and Iranians are ANYONE that is a citizen of the land.

Azari hate persians more than anyone else in Iran, you either are naive to think otherwise or you are insulting our mind here and take us for fools.

The distinction between ethnicity in Iran only exist in the minds of foreigners & certain western-influenced (and usually live in the west) Iranians. This has no meaning in the everyday living in Iran. For example, as I mentioned several times before, current leader of Iran, Ali Khamenei is Azari. This is a fact that means nothing at all in Iran.

If you look at Iran's history, you see millions of such examples. For racist foreigners (and diaspora Iranians), they think this means that if a non-Persian is in a high government position, then Iran is being ruled by a foreigner. This is what makes Iran survive for centuries. Because it has never been an ethnic based country. A person can be ethnically from anywhere in the world, but as long as is part of Iran, he becomes Iranian, white black persian azari muslim christian, doesn't matter.

Prophet Mohammad did not hate Iranians as much as some people nowadays who bring up his name do,

SAHIH BUKHARI Volume 6, Book 60, Number 420 :
Narrated by Abu Huraira
While we were sitting with the Prophet Surat Al-Jumu'a was revealed to him, and when the Verse, "And He (Allah) has sent him (Muhammad) also to other (Muslims).....' (62.3) was recited by the Prophet, I said, "Who are they, O Allah's Apostle?" The Prophet did not reply till I repeated my question thrice. At that time, Salman Al-Farisi was with us. So Allah's Apostle put his hand on Salman, saying, "If Faith were at (the place of) Ath-Thuraiya (pleiades, the highest star), even then (some men or man from these people (i.e. Salman's folk) would attain it."
