Azadi March Updates & Discussions

IK had the issue of no redressal of his complaints through the courts. After all the judges have done for NS/Zardari; TC'ing all the way; judge asking for guarantee of life (LOL); Fazlu should've taken IK to the cleaners. After all, with judges in their pockets they could've gotten an injunction against IK and declared election null and void. But no; they just march and spew their venom against the state.

.
I do not think that is the case. We all should realise that the country is passing through a critical situtation. Both on economic and security front. Mustering up a rally, for no valid reason, is creating commotion, thus aiding some hidden hands. In these circumstances, those who are masterminds of this rally can very well themselves create any incident may it be lingual, sectarian or regional. Base of this rally is hollow. Referring to IK dharna is not a comparison. IK had a reason and he contested election results on four main seats. When his grievances were not redressed by Election Commission he launched the march, though started very late. In this case they have accepted election, did not contest eligibility of even a candidate then saying that IK is selected Prime Minister and he should resign. this is absurd. It is certain that some anti Pakistan entity will take advantage of this situation and try to worsen the situation. Sanity should prevail in Molvi Fazl ur Rehman and he should disperse after a Jalsa at Isb designated area. pushing it further will result in violation of agreement and there will be clash between govt and this danda bardar force. Anyone who is of the opinion that this MFR should pursue till end is in fact not doing any favour to the country.
Imran khan was asking the resignation of prime minister nawaz sharif and joined hand even with fasadi qadri to achieve his political objective. He was asking people to go for civil disobedience, not pay electric/gas bills, send money through illegal means, beat policeman if they ever stop his supporters etc

Security situation was more critical back then when we were having sucide blast everywhere and army was doing operation in swat etc Electoral reform was just an excuse otherwise what electoral reform they have done . They got in power under same electoral system whom they were bashing ..same old traditional Pakistani politics of lotacrazy and same players who know the art of winning election . Now mullah is following same trend of dharna and using his street power for his political objective. They were boht wrong to topple sitting government through dharna/marches etc..

I would not defend wrong demands, but still the two situations are not comparable. He was agitating for election rigging and had gone legally for that. In present case they have not taken any legal course. Secondly, internal security and external security are two different things. At that time it was internal security, action was initiated to counter that. When it comes to external security, sleeper cells are also active and are waiting to create internal issues as well. Thus, it is more critical.
Constitutional reforms have to be done through 2/3rd majority which he does not have. Therefore, blaming him for not being able to achieve will be unfair.

Yes his fault lies in selection of wrong team. And we should call a spade, a spade when it comes to it

Being Industrially, economically and scientifically strong does not mean a country is capable of fighting. Take example of North and South Korea. Economically strong country does not want war and a weak country wants war.
Erm what?

Industrial might, economic might and scientific might = primary drivers of conventional muscle and power projection. US rolled back advances of both Nazi Germany and Imperial Japan in World War II due to these elements (quality of soldiers being a factor as well). US rolled back advances of Ba'ath Iraq in the Persian Gulf War due to these elements, and eventually eradicated Ba'ath regime at a later stage. Without these elements, YOU might start a war but it might go totally wrong for YOU even in the short-term. The aforementioned elements are absolutely necessary to have a well-equipped army to begin with and to afford warfare in the long-term, if it does not end quickly.

I can also discuss these matters in historical context but this would be an exceedingly lengthy discussion then.

Even though DPRK is a very dangerous adversary to any country and would be very difficult to overwhelm because its Public is not accustomed to luxuries but US + South Korea + Japan nexus is more than enough to thrash DPRK to oblivion should the need arise. The trio is building safety nets to defeat a potential nuclear attack from DPRK.

However, nobody desire war, not even DPRK, because modern-era wars are extremely violent and destructive events affecting millions in an instant and can get really worse.

People like us @Syed1. are the reason this country for the first time got a third party that broke the dynasty turned based politics between N league and PPP for the last thirty plus years. Had it for you people, we would still be living under Nooras and fake bhuttos at the expense of Pakistan, after all what we are bearing today are the hallmark achievements of the past 3 decades of N League and PPP where Pakistan was pushed into grey list and on the verge of being blacklisted, army being ridiculed by its own primer while inviting Modi on grand daughter's wedding, NATO attacking Pakistani soldiers, US raid and so on. So who again is the donkey here? I suggest you look into the mirror before pointing fingers.
You do not live in reality. Where are the people who struggled with IK in the present setup. In an attempt to come to power IK has disposed off all persons who believed in a cause and brought in lootas and choors to come to power.

He is another dynasty you like it or not.

A PM who can not find a single person to run finance ministry from among 100 or so elected persons elects Zardaris finance minister to head the ministry. Then he elects a retired brigadier the same person involved in Benzair Bhuttos killing as interior minister. Do not forget jem of the them all Firdous Ashiq Awan as information ministry's head yes the very same defending Asif Ali Zardari and now IK.

Then what happened to the same Americans against Taliban. Where did all the technology go.

After 19 years they are negotiating for a withdrawal against a military who did not even have a single surface to surface missile.

Do i even need to talk to you on this? Who are you some sort of thakadar of who's with IK and whos not. The finance ministry is doing fine, much better than what it was. It does not matter whom they were under because when the head is straight up guy, lower staff follows, similarly if head is bad, why would the lower staff carter. They will do as told by the senior. This is a simple rule for any HR. What was Zardari's interests in the country other than loot mar and plundering. So why would Hafeez Sheikh perform when the top management is corrupt to the core? The same Hafeez Sheikh is doing ok under IK because unlike Zardari IK has no intentions of loot mar and plunder. He genuinely wants to fix Pakistan starting with the economy. The rupee is slowly gaining against dollar and is stable for almost 4 months. The deficit between imports and exports have shrink (though this is much to do with shrinking of imports than increasing of exports) but happened, tax collection and number of filers have increased. Investment have started to flow in.
How much time has IK being given that you lot have started questioning him and his team? The same lot who was ok for the past 3 decades with the loot mar and money laundering that was going on but suddenly now suddenly bench marking Khan and his team? . I say slow your roll. We are all too aware of what your priories lie or of those whom you considered your leaders.

That is the response of a person who ran out of facts and argument.

You have given one fact and then yourself have contradicted it.

The same IK used to tell people when petrol is increased rulers are corrupt. Same IK increased the oil prices.

When electricity prices were increased IK used to criticize the governments decision. Now electricity prices have been increased countless number of times.

Gas prices have gone up almost 200%.

The same IK used to say when Rupee is devalued one rupee against dollar foreign loan goes up 100 billion rupees. He has devalued rupee almost 25%.

People purchasing power has gone down considerable.

If he is fixing the problem than we can only say please don't fix it.

Azadi March: JUI-F protesters march towards Lahore on Day 3

Maulana Fazlur Rehman’s Azadi March entered its third day on Tuesday (October 29). The marchers accompanied by PPP leaders reached Multan early Tuesday morning.

The caravan, led by the party chief, will arrive in Lahore later in the day.

A PML-N delegation, comprising Senator Rana Mahmoodul Hassan and Javed Hashmi, visited Fazl at his son’s house. Awami Raaj Party leader Jamshed Dasti has joined the marchers too.

We consider the Constitution as supreme, said a charged Fazl while taking the stage. “If you don’t follow the Constitution, then you are putting the country’s peace at risk.”

When Indian PM Narendra Modi was running his election campaign then Imran Khan had said that Modi will win the elections and then solve the Kashmir issue. “Has it been solved now? Imran Khan supported Modi’s election campaign,” he added.

PML-N’s Javed Latif said, while addressing the marchers, said that this is not only the march of Fazl but 220 million people. “If you want Kashmir’s freedom, then you must fight for your own freedom first,” he remarked. We will not back down till people are free, he said. “I am giving you Nawaz Sharif’s message. All PML-N workers are standing with you.”

“I know Imran Khan really well,” said Hashmi in his address. “I have served as PTI’s president. I know that Imran Khan doesn’t accept the Pakistani nation. Well, then we don’t accept such a leader,” he added.

The march will stop at two points in Khanewal: Daha Chowk and Mian Channu. After this they will travel to Sahiwal, then Okara, Kasur.

In Lahore, the JUI-F has set its main camp at Thokar Niaz Baig to welcome the marchers. The traders have established camps at Multan Chungi and Yateem Khana. The PPP leaders will welcome the participants in Samanabad, while the PML-N at Chauburji. Jamiat Ulema-e-Pakistan has established its camp at Data Darbar, while Jamiat Ahle Hadith has set up a camp at Bhatti Chowk on Ravi Road.

The marchers, joined by people from Dera Ghazi Khan and Muzaffargarh, gathered at the Fatima Jinnah Town Housing Scheme. Rehman addressed the participants at 12pm after which they left for Lahore.

After a night at the ‘tent city’ in Sukkur, party workers and supporters gathered for a large rally in the city. “This march will enter the corridors of power and sweep away all the trash,” said Fazl while addressing the march participants.

PM Imran Khan has lost his moral standing to govern Pakistan after losing Kashmir. He should resign.

PM Khan is the floppiest PM in Pakistan's 72-year history. Even inexperienced President Zardari wasn't this hapless.

Previous governments succeeded in keeping status quo.

We prepared for war by increasing defense budget and you will be surprised that during Nawaz Sharif five year tenure the defense budget increased considerably.

Being Industrially, economically and scientifically strong does not mean a country is capable of fighting. Take example of North and South Korea. Economically strong country does not want war and a weak country wants war. We have given our military all the equipment necessary to fight a war yet they want peace. Peace is a good thing but not at the expense of honor and dignity. While Indian PM and Army chief threaten us our PM and Army chief consistently preach peace. In-fact our PM openly says he is anti war.

Another example is Israel a country who are largest recipient of US monetary assistance yet they have a very strict policy towards an attack on their territory. Their neighbor despite being many times stronger than them do not dare attack because of their zero tolerance policy towards.

We built a strong military who wants peace. They are more interested in building DHA. This is what happens when a military becomes a business conglomerate.

Only blind could not see that status quo would have gone one day or another.

By increasing your defense budget were you able to bring something which give you edge against india? Something that no other country is willing to sell you or is asking too much dollars?

That where a country having the capabilities in scientific development, industrials développement is a requisite for us.

Having the will to fight is not the problem because our forces showed they have the will.

Don’t take the example of South Korea or any other country but take the example of USA.

They are the top in sciences, industries capabilities. They are totally independent in those fields.. now they attack whoever they want. Nobody is able to stop them (apart Allah of course).

Increasing your budget 100% does mean nothing. Because it could be an increase of 20 KPR if your budget was 20 KPR making your total budget of 40 KPR. Still nothing but yeah talking of huge increase is not wrong but still is in reality peanut.

Again I will say what I have already said : had we built a strong country, that day wouldn’t have come.

Now either we continue lamenting about past and present or we start to build a strong country.

The present government should complete its elected term in office. People must wait for the next election to deliver their verdict. Asking PMIK to resign now is just as wrong as forcing the previous PM to resign ever was.

Yup. I totally agree with you. However, this is the only language PM Khan and his PTI understands unfortunately.

Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf was never supposed to be a party that promotes political agitation or it's leader lies habitually just to grab the kursi but instead it was supposed to be model party.

A PM who openly brags about doing u-turns just to grab the kursi and loses Kashmir in his first year has no right to rule Pakistan.

If he had an iota of shame , he would've resigned already.
