Aussie family Boxing Day nightmare discover giant redback the size of a GOLF BALL in their home

You should use outdoor pesticide if you have a big yard, I have cats so I cannot allow any type of insect in my house.

I wasn't the type to scare easy, but spider is one of my vice

I don't use pesticides, I have a big backyard but I also have two bluetongue lizards living there, they are wild but if I use pesticides it will kill them, and they tend to keep the spiders away so all good.

Redbacks actually hide under toilet seats, in cars etc and then bite you.
That's a scary bit. I have been to Australia quite a few times but didn't encounter one yet. But for the next trip, I'm planning to stay a bit longer

Before you put your shoes on etc dust them out, especially now in summer spiders have taken over our cities and they aren't happy with us.

Cannot gamble with that, I have cats, if they ate any one of the creepy crawler, they will die...

It is much safer to get them boarded so I can do my pesticide thing in and outside my home, then have them come back afterward...

Yeah I know what you are saying, but these lizards are wild, I see them out sunbaking and they have the run of the backyard, I don't want to cage them, and it's illegal I think?
