What's new

Attack on Balochistan Constabulary in Quetta Claimed by TTP.

There needs to be a consequence.

What is the difference between this and an army of another country attacking Pakistan?

What would the reaction of PA be if the Afghan army attacked Pakistan?

It would be to destroy their bases right? Collateral damage would be expected?

It is the only way to get the message across. The peace talks clearly didn't work. They need to be made to understand they are not invincible and untouchable.
Once again, killing civilians doesn't work, ever. If it worked, Pakistan would have surrendered a decade ago.

The consequences are: never letting the members of the ttp know peace of mind. Drones should be utilized 24/7 and the idea made clear that the threat of a pointless death is always hanging above them should they choose to attack Pakistan.

I'm pretty sure he's deranged

He's suggested using biological and chemical arms on afghanistan.

Do you have another solution to end this 20 year war?

I remember in 2007, I remember it crystal clear. TTP were advancing, everyone was hating on the army and backing TTP. FATA tribes were offering their kids to fight and officers were colluding with them including ISI.

Anyone remember the marriot bombing?

Or the countless market bombings.

This has gone on long enough.

The yanks pumped them and got their Doha accord and left. So clearly this approach is not working. And it is damn obvious TTP is a wing of the Taliban.

Where are the precision strikes my friend?

We don't even have those. It's been 20 years and PA is too chicken to cross the border.

There is a supply network established now, probably underground tunnels, weapons cache. TTP pretending to be refugees.

Where is revenge for 70k Pakistani lives?

Or Pakistanis lives don't matter? Are we lesser?

Everything we discuss here is theoretical. We have no power over the military's decisions.
But you can find instances where TTP commanders have been boinked IN AFGHANISTAN by the PA

And you think Nuking them will do the trick?

Covert ops will do a better job than a straight up indiscriminate bombing raid

What you're suggesting is not how you win against insurgents.

Also, the fact that you say the PA has done nothing and doesn't have the capability, yet want them to launch a full scale genocidal war against the ttp is......contradictory to be polite.

Pakistan doesn't have them in the thousands. Only a few hundred, and they're mostly used to guard bases.
Probably, but out in the field is where we are taking all the loses. I am not saying pull them from guard duty to be used in the wilderness but we can procure some more, no?
ffs, if the generals can't spare the money, we'll crowdfund the damn things. if only one could trust them. IK raised around 50,000,000 USD for flood relief in his three telethons. a quick google serach shows the bearcat goes for ~300k USD. that 150+ bearcat

I know it's an emotional rant but also goes to show it's not that big an amount compared to the loss in life and the propaganda material morale boost for the enemy that it will take away.

well i am just glad they are not used to take the general's kids to school and back.
right?

With all due respect, but you are crazy. You are suggesting Pakistan sends nearly all of its active Personnel to fight a war in Afghanistan alongside launching a nuke. Neither Soviets or USA/NATO coalition even had that thinking.

An all out war would put civilians of Afghanistan against us, thus possibly rallying them to fight against Pakistan and with the TTP/IEA. Not to mention how the winds will literally carry the radiation from the nuke into other countries causing a whole other mess

This will bring them out in the open and it will be easy to pick them off. Also the sleeper cells in FATA and KPK will activate. As long as PA is prepared they can be dealt with.

I just groaned out loud.

That's. Not. How. You. Tackle, A. Damn. Insurgency
and liberals say they aren't unrealistic or out of touch.

I generally like @Menace2Society 's opinions but this is the same things the hamid mir types led musharraf to believe. and and then the human rights kicked in.
